About the shot
Edinburgh Zoo has a lot of green space and trees, and naturally at this time of year most of the leaves are on the ground. I do love a nice leaf shot! To achieve the bright and warm effect I applied the Cinemascope technique in Picnik. If there's a subject where you can get away with upping the saturation, it's autumn. :-)

Paphiopeldium in Ink Wash technique. Ink wash involves slowly building an image with many layers of dilute india ink, a slow technique that I really enjoy. This image is a few years old.
I made these two following Agnes The Red's brilliant tutorial www.freewebs.com/agnestheredtutorials/stampingtechniques.htm
Just simple rubber stamping really - using two different stamps. The one on the right is stamped onto tissue paper coloured with Glimmer Mist - the layers of tissue separated so the image is reversed (just by accident!)
