In 2000, the internet was still something of a novelty. Lots of businesses were still off line and not convinced that getting online was a good investment. The purpose of this paper is to convince late adopters that being online is absolutely essential and that Netcom can provide complete scalable solutions.

When this was written, data matrix codes (as opposed to bar codes) were just coming online. The purpose of the paper is to educate potential customers about the new symbology and why it's worth switching from conventional bar codes/scanners to dot matrix symbologies and scanners.
This case study considers the benefits of hands-free computing for mobile airport maintenance workers.

The purpose of this paper is to convince clinicians that electronic patient records have many advantages over paper records. EPR software from Clinitec is easy to adopt and use and scalable for all types of practices. In 2000, doctors, as a group, were very resistant to the idea of giving up paper records and hand transcription of patient exams.

In 2000, IBM was launching a new generation of commercial digital printers. Among many advantages, the novel advantage offered by these printers was the ability to individually customize print publications. This was especially attractive to direct mail marketers.
