Apples are a product of autumn. I'm in China, and I used to only get fresh apples from China and America in the fall and winter. New Zealand is in the southern hemisphere, and apple production complements the northern hemisphere in season. New Zealand apples started appearing on the Chinese market this year. Several different varieties of New Zealand apples are now available in the Chinese market. This is a delight for apple lovers, and fresh apples are now available almost year-round.

New Zealand apples, my favourites are Possy and Dazzle. I was very impressed with these two varieties. I hope that more agricultural products from New Zealand will enter China.

Took my new Techart autofocus adapter out for a test drive. Worked like a charm! I am really impressed with this little piece of technology - it adds autofocus to my manual Leica M-mount lenses on my A7R II.

Sony A7R II + Voigtlander Nokton Classic 40mm f/1.4 via Techart LM-EA7 Autofocus adapter (I never bothered to configure the adapter's focal length registries, and 40mm was not an option anyway, so the EXIF displayed is wrong).

EDIT: What do you know, the 40mm is actually displayed!

Looks can be deceiving, because this 991 model 911 Turbo S has a TECHART Stage 1 tune which ekes out 620 hp and 880 Nm. In case you were wondering, that's 60 hp and 130 Nm higher than stock. 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and vmax of 338 km/h.

Even without launching the car, I developed sweaty palms...

TECHART's Stage 2 tune (TA 091/T2.1) liberates an extra 140 hp and 170 Nm, giving a total output of 720 hp annd 920 Nm, century sprint in 2.7 seconds, vmax at 340 km/h. Madness.
