The Lovebirds are one of my fav illustrations I did 2013 so add them to business cards www.moo.com/share/799srz/

Dressed in espresso-brown reclaimed leather, my coat has a rich sense of age about it. Treatment with a protective polish has brought its true beauty to the fore. Embellished on my cover flap is a delicious verdigris patina ornate brass dragonfly which has been stitched into my coat with dark rust linen thread.

Open me up and you’ll fine I begin with a beautiful hand antiqued Ex Libris bookplate for your own personal introduction. To follow, I am filled with 140 sheets (280 pages) of hand-torn archive text paper to let your words take flight.

Archive Text is a high quality paper with a short grain & slight cream color, which has been classified as a permanent long life paper as defined in the American National Standard. Each piece has been stained with tea by hand for an olde worldly appearance which adds a unique dimension to my distinctive persona. My pages have been stitched into my coat with dark rust coloured thread, allowing me to lay flat when in use for accessibility & writing ease.

When you are not using me, I'll keep your creations safe with my double leather wrap tie, which simply tucks in on my back with two vintage wooden beads - one red, one green.

Measuring 3 ½ x 6 ¼ inches, I’m a fine journal for urban or country travel – but also quite enjoy sleeping under pillows & bedside drawers.

when i first found the magical creations of Bibliographica in the beginning of July, i spent hours upon hours just gazing at all her photos and taking in the beauty of them all.

i felt this indescribable sense of having found something i had been looking for without even knowing it - like a puzzle piece that fits perfectly.

i knew immediately that i wished to have one of her creations in my life and i was magnetized by this one very special book necklace with a tiny key. i was most happy to engage in the alchemy of having a transaction with Louise and here is my own little beauty now, Mini Rusticity.

it is such an amazing magical little thing and i am very happy to wear it. i'm considering what i will write/draw in it. the tiny key it is embellished with is simply amazing, i had never seen such a tiny skeleton key, it is the sweetest thing.

the book is so tiny and beautifully made with love.

this is truly a small treasure. ♥

My husband had done a poem for a friend of ours and she asked if I would put it in a collage for her. Here is the finished piece which is 9" x7".

The poem reads;

Some people are special

the way they live inspires us all.

They give us support and love

they just seem to be there to

catch us when we fall.

Just being near them gives us warmth.

They shine and share with us

their radiant light.

When things go wrong

they give us the courage

to keep up the good fight.

Seeing them go through their own

personal sorrow and strife.

Not being afraid to cry or show fear

yet still carry themselves with dignity

and a heart full of compassion.

It is an awesome expressiom of how

their honor can enhance one's own life.

They don't hide their joy

they laugh and smile.

Caring of others

yet confident and independent.

They have their own style.

Loving and forgiving through

all your ups and downs.

Somehow they let you know

they will always be around.

A lust for music

they dance so caerfree.

That is why Nancy

is a very special friend

and you will always be to me.
