Sometimes, a couple of squirts of WD-40 just aren't enough to break something loose. That's when you need a bud to step in and lend a hand. Niles Canyon Railway maintenance facility near Sunol, California.

‘They Are Human Beings’: Homeland Security Faulted for Treatment of Migrant Children -The New York Times

We need to make our voices known to insist upon fair treatment for all children and people throughout the world, families should not be separated and jailed for no reason. There are many difficult problems to solve, but this one should not be neglected, we need to face it head-on and find positive solutions and surely we could do that by acting with our friends, not against them. The world is linked by technology, it is not the time to separate countries and nationalities, we all need one another, it is time to unite. This is not the time to be greedy and selfish, instead, we have to work together!
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️

Being full time teachers/ counselors, Sarah and I don't have as much time for our creative projects as we would like... so when we do get time we really need to help each other out, because its usually short...

Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk 2011
Several photogs and one of the models on the golf course at Arrowhead Ranch.
Explored 2011-10-05 #384 Coincidentally this is the image I entered in the Kelby photowalk contest :)
This raccoon pair likes to stick together, they used some nice teamwork skills to avoid having to actually jump to get to the top of the fence and worked on some of those bicep muscles to do a pull up to get to the top.

For those unfamiliar this machine, it is a thresher.
In general, threshing is the separating of grain from stalks and husks. This is an older machine but still often employed. Sure beats flailing grain by hand.
The belt is wound around a tractor gear which I am standing near to get this shot. The hay or grin fed up the conveyor and the split results in the pile in the distance.
Lol, sorry those that had already faved etc, I suddenly noticed a fatal flaw so had to delete original!
It's too quiet in here, I thought to myself. So I checked on the dogs - and they were working together to tear up a roll of toilet paper. Their reactions were funny - Spencer was all guilty and walking around. Bino just stayed where he was and kept chewing on the paper. He's got no respect for me, I tell ya.
An adult and a juvenile brown pelican (elecanus occidentalis patrol the water off Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL
This is one of three species of pelican that breed in the New World (along with the larger American white and the Peruvian brown pelican); five species inhabit the Old World, including Australia. The two brown pelicans are the only species that dive after fish, the American species typically plunging from greater heights than its Peruvian congener. Populations of American brown pelican, found principally along the California coast and along the Gulf Coast and southern Atlantic coast of the U.S., as well as in the Caribbean and through the Galapagos Islands, declined steeply due to DDT use in the 20th century but have partly recovered and stabilized in the last several decades. Put out this nut-log a few days ago and the birds have been slowly but surely working away at it.
Caught this Downy Woodpecker and Brown-headed Nuthatch both hard at work, chipping away at those nuts
This week we're supposed to finally have some seasonal fall like weather with temps dipping into the 30's F at night, around 3.0 C, so this nut-log will probably become very popular over the next few days.
Another great topaz save! I'm really enjoying going through my early images and seeing how many of them can be saved with this software. Such a wonderful taste of Heaven
For our Joy and the Glory of Jesus, through whom all things were made (1 Thessalonians 5:16 & John 1:3)
What a special way to celebrate the lunar new year in the backcountry with heavy snow dumpling non stop. This was my first time camping in such heavy snow and the condition wasn't ideal either. It was foggy and white out but it also allows me to spend more time with friends around camp cooking and talking. This image shows my friends working together to cook a hot meal. The person standing was using his foam pad to shield the cooking pan. It was a great memory.
