Walking in the sunshine and picking tiny hedgerow flowers - bliss. Displaying them in teacups pretty. these lovely tiny blue flowers are veronicas speedwells.
Porcelain teacups in the traditional Chinese style of rice pattern. This delicate pattern gets its name from grains of rice embedded in the clay before firing. The grains are destroyed in the firing and leave the translucent porcelain windows which allow the light to filter through.
Old Chelsea saucers make excellent palettes for watercolours, and the teacups are handy for the water too (plus it all washes off nicely ready for someone else to drink tea out of....)
Taken from the line for the Storybookland Canal Boats. I haven't taken many night shots with this camera, so I was trying different settings.

While the girl and hubs were waiting in line to ride the teacups, I decided to play with shutter speed.

i couldn't go on this ride... anything that goes just in circles will pretty much just kill me... i'm sure of it. glad to see the nerds having fun tho... tried to take pics of everyone but trying to focus on fast moving objects in low light was pretty tough.
