Birmingham's Chinese Lantern Festival at the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston returns to offer a feast for the eyes, with a multitude of impressive illuminated tableaux set along a trail through the park.

The Lantern Festival at Birmingham Botanical Gardens runs from 23rd November 2018 to 1st January 2019. For more see below (however the weblink only shows the lanterns in London's show which seem more ambitious in scale) :-

Scrap fabric and second-hand teacups

Batman villain hideout style

My mom went to some antique stores with my aunt and got me a couple teacups.

I put one to use holding some loose beads and charms.

Charlie would like everyone to know that he is not, in fact, a black cat. He is actually a rare "lucky" teacup panther. He and his cousins at the shelter are spreading the word that all those crazy superstitious people out there need not be afraid of him and instead should realize that teacup panthers are the international symbol for "Good Luck". In fact..having a teacup panther in your home will definitely bring you much joy and happiness. So get out there, spread the word, and bring home your own lucky little panther :)

Scariest ride at Disneyland.. hands down 07.20.09

Tea on Tuesday is (coffee) today, and it is a wonderful pungent French Roast, just right for this cold January morning, which I must say is probably not as cold for me as it is for the rest of my “tea time buddies”! In keeping with the color of the month (red) I have put together a Rojo (red) and Amarillo (yellow) group of treasures that include vintage textiles, hand painted dolls, a great old tin box, and a crochet collar made by a friend.

Just looking at these shots gets me sick. But I did like taking long exposure fish eye shots of em.

Teacups at the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea, Hong Kong.

My grandmother said she was given this by the next door neighbor on Guam. There are three handled teacups and saucers. There are also six chinese teacups and five tiny tiny winecups.
