Claire, Andrew and me on the teacups in Bridlington

I just love taking pictures of the Teacups ride. It's so colorful and people always look so happy when on it.

I was impressed by how sparkling new and clean it looks. It's more than 50 years old but the paint looks brand-new and it doesn't look like years of layers, either. So bright and clean.

I found this at Goodwill while looking for some old jars - I didn't find the jars but chanced upon 3 of these. I took them home because I wanted to keep 2 and maybe the 3rd one will be swapped.

Thanks to the Musee Jacquemart-Andre in Paris and their excellent packing, my teacup made it home in one piece. It was really affordable and based on some china in the house/museum.

Here's a Disneyland Teacups shot at night.

The bright colours of the teacup and the wall made for a nice colour study. And oddly, the saucer looks warped.

If I couldn't use the teacups my grandma gave me by hanging them, stacking them safely and using them for another purpose (in addition to tea) might be one way to keep them out. I like this upside down look for two of them and flowers always make me smile.

Experimenting with the tools on hand - used a cut open Lipton tea bag to read my tea leaves. Doesn't work as well with the 3x CCW method but probably will work better if swirled first.

Scorpion: the scorpion is the handmaiden of Isis. This is low down in the cup. May just mean someone who is a Scorpion will prevail in my life in 3 months - will this be the spring when I try to see my parents again. My mother is a Scorpio. I think it means her. I'm worried about this.

Dog Licking Paw: Restore, loyalty, friends, a return to the basic precepts of nature and healing. A dog's saliva is cleaner than a human's. Immediate future.

This teacup and saucer match a lonely Russian teapot my brother found in one of his tea books. Can they be reunited?
