vintage porcelain teacup. . .purging some vintage goodies in a new etsy shop called wolfiedigs. It's not a new venture or direction, just a way to declutter the house a bit (I hope!)

The other great Philadelphia top 40 station. This was possibly issued for the same reason as the Wibbage tumblers. Used as a consulation prize.
I'm guessing mid 70's on this. Found on a yard sale in the 80's.

While I was out Christmas shopping I came across these amazing teacups! Not too big and not to small they reminded me of my granny's teacups with a artsy twist. I ended up buying all 4 for myself! Ha!ha! Merry Christmas to me!!! They are wonderful for all sorts if things and I'm sure you'll be seeing chippy in them next summer;)
My teacup collection! The stand is from Lovejoy's Attic. The top 2 cups and saucers are from Anthropologie, the third is from a tea cup swap and the bottom one is from Alameda Flea market.
Photo showing Teacup Tools project
Teacup Tools is an array of cybernetic teacups, adapting themselves to the realm of climate-related sciences. The work appears as a multifunctional tool for the investigation of micro clouds above tea, for communication and for tea drinking.

Rain splats on my lens as the storm passes overhead.
I pretty much raced this storm on my way back from work. (Storm chasing on a train, who'd've guessed!) Got home dry and then changed into something a bit more waterproof!

We wanted something fun for the table on the patio and I just love this planter. It is cute but large enough for us to get several different types of flowers in it.
I Remember, I Remember
I remember, I remember,
The house where I was born,
The little window where the sun
Came peeping in at morn;
He never came a wink too soon,
Nor brought too long a day,
But now, I often wish the night
Had borne my breath away!
I remember, I remember,
The roses, red and white,
The vi'lets, and the lily-cups,
Those flowers made of light!
The lilacs where the robin built,
And where my brother set
The laburnum on his birthday,--
The tree is living yet!
I remember, I remember,
Where I was used to swing,
And thought the air must rush as fresh
To swallows on the wing;
My spirit flew in feathers then,
That is so heavy now,
And summer pools could hardly cool
The fever on my brow!
I remember, I remember,
The fir trees dark and high;
I used to think their slender tops
Were close against the sky:
It was a childish ignorance,
But now 'tis little joy
To know I'm farther off from heav'n
Than when I was a boy.
