Sadly, the Midvale Heights buffalo-pilgrims did not get dressed up this year. Perhaps they were immobilized by post-election depression. Maybe they were protesting the over-reliance on identity politics in our society. Maybe they're tired of being hyphenated buffaloes and just want to be plain, ordinary buffaloes. Whatever the reason, this photo of them in full regalia from a previous year will just have to do. Happy Thanksgiving!

So much has changed since we first arrived to flickr... it seems like a different life altogether. 🐱

Thank you friends for all for your kind and generous comments through the many years and lives we have been here - you make us happy to share a bit of our world with you 💞

#TBT 1960s-era truck body built by Multivans for The Telegram. Multivans was founded in 1962.

Now that I've been coerced into getting a pro account, I might as well upload some pics from how it all began. Going to start making albums on Flickr to keep them somewhat organized by year.

Doing some TBT monochrome conversions for FB , pics from 2022!

Looking at this series, I can see I was close...I sure feel better now :)

July, two years ago.

A stormy day, on a long bridge up north.

Shot during my dad's birthday celebration back in '09, Brendan, age 10 here, was still having fun with his Halloween fangs from the day before.

Throw back Thursday

I was recently shown a social media post that went something along these lines….

Going outdoors – not cancelled

Music - not cancelled

Family - not cancelled

Reading - not cancelled

Singing - not cancelled

Laughing - not cancelled

Hope - not cancelled

Let’s remember what we have

Rather than going out and creating new images, it seems appropriate to look back at past collections of beautiful things our area has to offer during these difficult times and that will still be here when we are done with the current conditions….

Stay safe, stay supportive
