Early May 2020: the authorities strongly suggested that those who could work from home, should do so.
My wife was an "early adopter" and was quick to establish a "home office."
Due to my line of work, I could unfortunately not "harvest the benefits" of that, but worked weird shifts and long hours in order to be able to be home too, to the extent possible.
Now, almost three years later, "hybrid working" is a well working concept at many workplaces so she's at the home office a couple of days a week.
For me, remote work is not possible, so I've figured out my own "hybrid" work model: as little as possible and strategically planning hard to get fired.
Unfortunately, my bosses are not exactly keen on the latter.

This was a very interesting point in time for me and it is actually hard to believe that it was 10 years ago. Three photos from me. Left is January 2010, middle is February 2010 and right is March 2010.
清水斷崖
清水斷崖位於清水山東側，自蘇花公路和平至崇德之間，綿延21公里 。其中清水山東南大斷崖尤其險峻，絕壁臨海面長達5公里，非常壯觀。當行車在山壁斷崖與無垠汪海之間，好像騰雲凌空，上有巨壁千仞，下是汪洋萬頃，真是驚險無比，也感受前人拓荒築路的艱辛，眼前所見正是一篇山海與人的壯麗詩篇。在這裡還可以欣賞太平洋海天一色，山海對峙，以及海岸呈現多層次的藍色驚艷。

Just realized how many unpublished pictures I have from that event.
The street was basically 90% US cars on that day, with a few exceptions, of which one is in this picture...

Oh I remember this night. Shopping. MAC counter. New dress. Some good interactions and then this photo shoot. All in all it was a magical night.
Sie wurden gespielt, zerkratzt, gesammelt und - vor allen Dingen - heiß geliebt! Schallplatten offenbarten uns die große, weite Welt der Musik und sind für viele Musikhörer immer noch die erste Wahl. Höchste Zeit also, die Schallplatte auf Flickr zu feiern.

TBT _ And A Photobomb
Back to 2018 in Atlanta.
I was the last girl for a photo shoot before heading off to the VC Gala and Cassandra Storm and I were going through some spots outside. Cassandra asked if I could go down on the sidewalk and I said of course. As she was getting set, I could hear footsteps approaching. Cassandra was waiting for them to pass when I heard, "Can we be in the photo?" and Cassandra said, "But of course." I did not turn around and so I had no idea what was happening. A couple of shutter clicks later and these two lovely girls walked over to have a look at the photo on Cassandras' camera. They smiled, laughed, one of the girls looked at me and said I was pretty and they were on their way. Maybe 2 minutes altogether but a special moment.
TBT - 2017
Reflecting
I woke today in a reflective mood. For many of us there is a real timeline for our growth. Date of first time dressing. Date of first time going out. Date of first time shopping. Date of first time sharing with a friend your true personal self. On and on and on.
As I was going through some photos from the past, I stopped on the folder from 2017. That was a real year of growth and an important point to lead to where I am today. Looking at the photos you can see how close and how far away I was and it was all happening at the same time. Clothes were better. Going out and feeling more comfortable that was better. Makeup…well…it was close maybe sort of better. But you could see in the photos-the look…it wasn’t real. It wasn’t genuine as it wasn’t accepted yet.
Now being able to look ahead to the next year when so many great personal boxes were checked off, I can see the enthusiasm and appreciation I was having with and for myself in the photos from 2017 but that full acceptance was not there yet. That is just so very important and I am sure you can agree with that. I am in such a better point in my life and honestly there was nothing wrong with that point in my life but now I just feel so much better about ME all of ME.
There are some really nice photo spots where I live and yes I tend to exploit them and myself at them. This was maybe my third time at this particular place (Oh and my photographic skills have improved over the past 5 years) and I can clearly recall this time because of one encounter. I was outside sorting out a shot when this woman walked past and she was extremely genuine with her comment “You look great but far too pretty to be alone.” It caught me totally off guard and I did not know what to say or do. I am sure she was just being supportive and offering up an opening to a conversation. I had nothing. I think I mumbled something like “thanks” but I remember her at that moment more than I do me. A missed opportunity at a potential supportive friend. Do not miss those opportunities my friends. Be brave. Be open. Be appreciative of the love and support that is out there.
Do remember that you are awesome -beautiful – amazing – and your true self is fabulous so embrace it.
