IT: La 'Taurus' E190.314 scende dal valico di Chiasso con il consueto merci di InRail diretto a Lecco Maggianico.
La locomotiva ha perso quasi del tutto il logo Fuorimuro, fuorché la piccola bandiera di Genova.

An image hot of the press, although there was nothing hot about this morning. I ventured out looking for winter but it looked like the snow flurries yesterday were restricted to the coast. It was very cold in the woods with a clear sky so I made a beeline to some of my favourite trees knowing that these conditions wouldn’t last long. This tree I named Taurus many years back for obvious reasons, would you believe the composition was built around a prominent leaf between its two main branches, making sure that leaf and trunk of the tree were in focus. It’s these little things that make a picture special for me.
Treffen der Generationen: Zwei meiner Lieblingsstiere auf einem Bild, wer hätte das je gedacht, doch der Zufall machte es möglich. So trafen sich 182 021 (ES64U2) mit einer S1 nach Schöna und 183 717 (ES64U4) mit einem Blackboxx zug nach Bad Schandau in Pirna zusammen.

De klapper van de dag was voor mij ongetwijfeld de 'vlammen Taurus' 182 572 van TXL. Voorzien van een goed beladen trailertrein onderweg naar het zuiden.

The Taurus portion of the Bagdad railway built by Germans in the beginning of the 20th century is one of the busiest rail lines in Turkey. In 2014 the railway infrastructure did preserve some remains of the heritage, the semaphore in the foreground is one example.
A container train from the mediteranien port Mersin hauled by DE22 045 has passed Karaisalıbucağı on the southern Taurus approach and heads northbound.

One of the most beautiful scenes on the East Coast in my opinion. This is an 8 image horizontal pano stitch. I will be returning here in the fall.
