Spotted on Rick's Pohutukawa/New Zealand Christmas Tree today. It was most obliging, at a perfect height (no stretching or crouching needed) and it stayed for a long time allowing for several images.

I thought I'd start 2017 off with some insect shots for a change.

The warmer Spring has brought the dragonflies out.

I saw several of these today. The warmer temperatures are bringing them out.

I'm seeing a lot more of these with the warmer weather making its presence felt.
