I have always had a fascination with tattoo sleeves and in particular blackwork designs. I have a background in electronics and design so this is the design we came up with. This is also my first tattoo which was rather daunting to begin with.

Met this friendly young man @ Cleveland Tattoo Convention organized by Villain Arts. When I asked his permission to take a shot - he looked at me smiled , bowed his artistic tattooed head and said go ahead !
First - Randy hasn't gone tattoo crazy; not that there's anything wrong with that. He just puts up with my Photoshop fun sometimes...
Walt Disney World, Epcot - Randy Holbrook performs with Off Kilter, a Celtic Rock band, at the Canadian Pavilion at Epcot. Randy is a singer, composer, and an accomplished guitarist.

Made this for a small bridal show but we didn't cut it. Really made it for my husband. He loves tattoo inspired cakes and we are celebrating his birthday today and I have been dying to make him a cool cake and he always tells me not to because we are so busy. So I stayed up until 5 a.m. and surprised him with this! He really likes it :) And of course, its his favorite cake: cappuccino chocolate chip cake with mocha butter cream.

My name is Khan(칸). I am a tattoo(타투) artist from South Korea. I have been professionally tattooing since 2001.
I never imagined that I would be a tattoo artist until I saw the traditional Japanese tattoo.
Actually, I wanted to be an Architect like Antonio Gaudi.( It is still one of my dreams though :D)
One day I met Japanese Yakuza, who has traditional Japanese tattoo.
It was amazing and inspiring as a piece of art on human's body.
I think that was a turning point in my life.
First I started to practice on my whole body. Then I opened my own studio in Tokyo and became a tattoo artist.
As a foreigner It was not an easy to be a traditional tattoo artist in Japan.
But it has been a decision I had never regretted. Tattooist is the most awesome job in the world.
Lately, I have been doing a lot of color realism and My style called Neo-Fantasy, attending various conventions and doing many guest spots in studios in both Europe and the United States.
I travel a lot and enjoy working with my friends and artists from overseas.
These experiences have been and always will be precious moments of my life.
I am still learning a lot from my works and always think my best art is my next one!

We went to this Brighton Tattoo Convention this weekend, which was awesome. But what made it more awesome was that it was freeeeee, thanks to Katy Lennon and her Bizarre Magazine contacts. So I just spent the afternoon running around asking people with pained expressions on their faces if I could take a photo of their new additions.
The last time I came here in 2009, I tried to make my shots all look a bit surgical (www.flickr.com/photos/b-love/3247177750, www.flickr.com/photos/b-love/3247173078, www.flickr.com/photos/b-love/3247167228), so this time around I wanted to make more of an effort to capture not only the tattoos being created, but also the tattoos of the artists innking them. So, this is my first and favourite shot. More to come.
Sailor Jerry was tagged with the name Norman Collins at birth, but he began to distance himself from normalcy when he was 19 (that's why he became a sailor). He traveled around the world, not only getting his first tattoos, but also gaining exposure to the art and imagery of Southeast Asia. This later became a crucial influence when he opened his first tattoo shop in Honolulu's Chinatown, ground zero for swaggering sailors, drunken soldiers and whoever else wasn't afraid to hang around volatile levels of testosterone.
The Honolulu Tattoo district was designed to accommodate a time in men's lives when they drank heavily, paid for women, and imprinted their biceps with pictures solid and resonant enough to last a lifetime. Back then, Chinatown was the only place on the island where a man could get a tattoo, creating fierce competition among the many tattoo parlors.
Roving sailors weren't looking at the nuances of shading and color, they were seeking pictures worth showing off to their buddies back home. Sailor Jerry built his business with bold designs that artfully expressed the mind set of his clientele. When you look at Sailor Jerry's "flash", it's immediately apparent why he spawned the kind of following that made it necessary to begin printing "The Original Sailor Jerry" on all his business cards. This is man stuff. Filled with the grit, romance and heartbreak that drives some men to do what most would not. There's a tension about port cities filled with men who consider themselves on a mission to have a good time and return with evidence of such. And it's drawn into all of Sailor Jerry's tattoos. Keep your eyes out for his work, not in galleries, but in bars and on the street. If you find yourself strangely captivated by the girl on an old man's arm, we suggest you go ahead and offer to buy the guy a drink of Sailor Jerry Navy Rum. Hopefully, he'll be so impressed with your taste in rum, he won't punch you out and maybe he'll tell you some stories.
