Pretty damned happy with how this design is sitting; this isn't the true finished design - rather this is the seed that best articulates what I'm wanting in my third tattoo (going down my spine), and my favorite tattoo artist will have a 'playground' to build from.

I feel this section of my work is some what creditable, it shows my journey of learning to draw and record visually, although I feel it can be over looked by some to be lacking conceptual depth.

During my tattoo apprenticeship, I started to fuse my own style with the new drawing style I was introduced too. As you can see I began using text in the images which were lyrics I had pulled from music to give me a concept to work with. I still use lyrics today in my work as I feel it represents a large part of my life; the very strong musical influence that has shaped me as a person.
