They say that tattoos are an art form, a way to express one’s identity or tell a story of person’s life. Tattoos are permanent and people tend to forget that. They are a lifelong commitment that has consequences that you have to live with. I have no intention on getting a tattoo but I just find this place very interesting. With hanging leather bags on the wall and scarves for sale made the studio stand out among different stalls at the night market.

Buzzing around Cravone City and came across this cute lil tattoo shop. So got my inkers out and got inked up so all ready for any clients who may want to get inked.....Anything with shakey lines a specialty but heaven forbid, I cant even get my eyeliner straight so how on earth can I draw straight lines with this inker thingie. Lol ....wanna risk it?

Dr. Jeb, renowned tattoo artist, and also renowned loser in phototag! His tattoo parlour is located above our shop. Walking into it is like walking into the heart of Halloween. He used to work with us until he wisely decided to go out on his own and persue his art. Now he's making some real money and enjoying lots of free time. He is also one of the nicest and most intelligent (looks can be deceiving) people I know. I hate him.

This was fun and I thought it was sort of crazy looking with the lighting

There must be a lot of tattoos out there which people wish they could erase. Loved ones that you don't know as well as you think you do. Illiterate Tattoo Artists... Tattoo artists that just don't have a degree of the artist part of their job title...Anyway, I like the shot, the colour version I like too if honest, normally i can decide fairly easily which I prefer. I'll process and post it shortly!

behind a city window, a quiet ritual unfolds: art etched into skin, bathed in the glow of a neon sign and layered with the soft distortions of glass. it's a photograph that doesnât just show whatâs there â it captures the invisible tension between creation and observation, privacy and exposure.

Black & White and color By calculating the

The other important point in taking a good photo and the composition.

The classic mistake is to rush when a scene seems interesting, we do not check the edges of the canal and try to fit as many elements as possible in the direction no we have to make a choice and it is arranged to organize the together.

at first it is preferable to eliminate from the case anything that is parasitic when reading the image by placing yourself judiciously.

I never use zooms, Than fixed lenses Which forces me to build my image in other words I learn to zoom with my feet.

A recent composite shoot with Paul Taylor and his tattoo equipment. I must add that he dealt with the cold like a trooper!

Stopped in at my Favourite Shop for the first time this year... that didn't involve my own work, anyway.

Another outtake from my project, The Culture (jtinseoul.wordpress.com/the-culture). This is Jin, a customer at Brad's tattoo shop. He was getting a full body tattoo.

this candid street portrait captures a tattoo artist taking a moment's pause in the doorway of his studio in la lonja, palma de mallorca. the vibrant yellow of the door contrasts with the artist's black attire and intricate tattoos, creating a visually striking composition. absorbed in his phone, the artist's demeanor conveys a blend of intensity and calm. after this candid shot, i approached him for a more formal portrait, adding a personal connection to this spontaneous encounter. the image highlights the intersection of urban life and personal artistry, encapsulating a moment of quiet reflection amidst the vibrant city backdrop.

Janina is from near Vilnius in Lithuania. She was a machine gun operator in the Lithuanian army stationed in the warzone in Mali until quite recently. She is now works a tattoo artist in Glasgow and is a body builder.

Tattoo Artist - MacDougal Street - Greenwich Village - NYC

Passed a tattoo studio in Old Town and went inside to take a few snaps.

I asked the guy if it hurt and everybody in the room started laughing, guess I got my answer there ;)

Recommended a friend to Elevated Ink and, of course, I had to shoot one of the sessions.

I met Anya and her partner, John, in the Glastonbury Abbey grounds. When I asked Anya if I might take her photograph, she agreed. It was a bright sunny day and I took the couple to the shade of a nearby tree.

Anya works as a tattoo artist, in Bristol. Anya and John were enjoying looking at the stalls in the Medieval Fayre that was taking place in the abbey grounds.

When I had taken two or three shots of Anya, I asked if John would like to join her so that I could take a portrait of them both together. I had them move to the left then to the right – so that the trunk of the tree comprised the whole of the backdrop. We all smiled as they moved to and fro according to my instructions.

I had given John my card before taking photos of Anya. He gave it back to me when we were done. He had already photographed it with his phone.

Thank you Anya for being part of my project. It was great to meet you and John today.
