Nefekalum's fab new materials tattoo, Medusa's Gaze, reminded me a lot of the Japanese art of Kintsuku - especially with the gold in the gaps of the cracks. I added cinphul's carnal headpiece [I turned it upside down for a different look] and completed the entire outfit with various pieces for that otherworldly Mage look. Yes, the diet is going well...

End of the first day of my first tattoo. Work by Zoe Windle of Shamanic. Sorry for the reflectopant shot..
This isn't the best of shots, but it's what I've got. I'll get someone to take a better picture when it's had a chance to heal a bit.
The figure will be backed by Tibetan-style flames (a traditional treatment) so he's backlit. He'll be blue, with flame eyebrows (also traditional.)
The outline also still needs to have the lotus and the rest of the elephant that the Mahakala stands on added.
I'm missing a picture from the second outline session, where all of the lines were brought to their correct values.
This is a BIG project.
completely my design (simple, yes, but perfect).
The tattoo artist did absolutely nothing to it, but size it for me.
It is so perfect, and people are now approaching me to do designs for them. Very surreal.
