“Happiness. Simple as a glass of chocolate or tortuous as the heart. Bitter. Sweet. Alive.”

TASTE IT – JAKE BUGG
At low tide the gulls swoop down
they don't mind the mud; the crown
is all the treasure that they find
and all they bring to peaceful minds
just sitting on the silent jetty
I dwell; dismiss the light; the petty
thoughts I left behind me when
I travelled back in time and then
that sweet anticipatory swell
a feeling that I know so well
a blossoming; melding of my dreams
mixed and mingled or so it seems
inhaling wondrous memories
exhaling numbness; recovery
is just a few deep breaths away
giving meaning to my days
healing power of nature reigns
here in this place there is no pain
what am I to make of it all
if I slip now how far will I fall
let my senses be my guide
listen to the voice inside
my heart and soul will let me know
all questions answered; one door closed
but then a brightness through a window
the sun breaks through; my thoughts are tender
here is where I should always be
on my little island in the sea.

Pumpkin cake I made for dessert on Thanksgiving, with cream cheese frosting...Yum!!
INXS Taste It www.youtube.com/watch?v=SshyrVKrb1Q
Celebration Pumpkin Cake Recipe from The Cake Mix Bible
1 Pkg. Spice cake mix (or Carrot Cake mix)
1 can solid pack pumpkin (16 oz)
3 eggs
1/4 cup butter, softened
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine all ingredients in large bowl, beat 2 minutes with electric mixer.
Divide batter evenly in 2 9" round cake pans that have been sprayed with Pam with flour. (or greased and floured).
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack.
Frost with cream cheese frosting. Decorate as you wish.
The recipe book had caramel sauce drizzled down the sides and pecans on top.
I chose to do the sides in the cookies since it looked a bit fancier for Thanksgiving.
Cream Cheese frosting.
6 oz cream cheese, room temperature
3 tablespoons milk
1 tsp clear vanilla
5-7 cups powdered sugar
mix until smooth...if it's too thick add more milk a tsp. at a time
Enjoy!
By the way, this is the moistest cake I have ever made! (And I've baked a lot of cakes...I used to be a professional cake decorator)

The most popular attraction at the World of Coca-Cola is undoubtedly the Taste It! sampling stations, where visitors can try Coke products from around the world. I snapped this shot of the flavors available at the ''Asia'' station: Fanta Melon Frosty (Thailand), Vegibeta (Japan), Lemon Crush (Bahrain), Fanta Apple Kiwi (Thailand), Thums Up (India), Smart Watermelon (China), Ice (Korea), and Smart Apple (China). While the Vegibeta may sound weird, it's actually one of my favorite flavors!

I snapped this shot of the flavors available at the ''Africa'' station: Bibo Candy Pine-Nut (South Africa), Sunfill Blackcurrant (Mauritius), Bibo DJ Kiwi Mango (South Africa), Sparletta Sparberry (Zimbabwe), Sunfill Menthe (Djibouti), Bonbon Anglais Limonade (Madagascar), and Fanta Exotic (Uganda). Sadly, this pic turned out very fuzzy, as it was difficult to snap a quick photo with so many people trying to reach in and dispense soda samples.
The most popular attraction at the World of Coca-Cola is undoubtedly the Taste It! sampling stations, where visitors can try Coke products from around the world. I snapped this shot of the flavors available at the ''Europe'' station: Fuze Tea (Israel), Fanta Pineapple (Greece), Fuze Tea (Turkey), Kinley Bitter Lemon (England), Fuze Tea (Georgia), Fanta Magic (Estonia), Mezzo Mix (Germany), and Beverly (Italy). Sadly, this pic turned out very fuzzy, as it was difficult to snap a quick photo with so many people trying to reach in and dispense soda samples. I don't recall what flavor the Israeli Fuze Tea was; I think the Turkish one was lemon iced tea and the Georgian one was either strawberry or raspberry tea. The Italian drink is actually a bitter (non-alcoholic) apéritif, and most tasters agreed this was the most unpleasant flavor of the lot.

I snapped this shot of the flavors available at the ''Latin America'' station: Seagram's Ginger Ale (Mexico), Delaware Punch (Honduras), Ciel Aquarius (Mexico), Kuat Guarana (Brazil), Fuze Tea (Venezuela), Fanta Kolita (Costa Rica), Manzana Lift (Chile), and Inca Kola (Peru). Sadly, the flavors at the end turned out a bit dark/fuzzy in this pic, as it was difficult to snap a quick photo with so many people trying to reach in and dispense soda samples.
