Tioga is learning to nudge me when I am overwhelmed, though she does this pretty automatically.

Tioga is learning to respond and sense levels of depression. She can lay on my feet, put head on lap, and give hugs on command.

She provides sensory grounding when I go into sensory overload by simply licking me or my petting her.

Putting her in her crate and taking her out reminds me to take my meds.

She is social and gets me to talk to people out in the world and my own family. Even if through just Canines for Christ if she loses her vision she is still helping ME with my profound social anxiety. Wow! Talk about blessing, it's win a win situation because I'm out of the house The Lord has indeed blessed me! I feel so honored to have such a gift it moves me to tears.

She also is a great distraction in waiting rooms which for reasons beyond me trigger panic attacks.

Effective teams balance task and relationship. It's like sharpening the saw. You can keep your total focus on the task at hand, but if relationships become strained, productivity will suffer. Spending time on relationships will make the work of the team much more effective. I can keep cutting with a dull saw, but it'll be slower and slower.
