On New Year's Eve we went down to the family hunting cabin to do some target practice with friends. Mr Chiots wants to do this every month so he's ready for deer season this year. He's hoping to have 3 deer in the freezer after 2010 hunting season.

I took my oldest child, and only daughter, to the shooting range today. She did well, and learned quickly. I think the time in our back yard, with the BB gun has really helped ease her into it. The ideas of breathing slowly, sight picture, and some of the basics of firearm safety had already been learned. So, she was ready to do well today.

On our way to the El Badi Palace, we walked by another large mosque and this soccer ball ravaged entrance. One of the locals informed us that this was the ladies entrance to the mosque.

I rather doubt the men would allow the boys to use THEIR door for target practice.
