Finally, I have a better downrange photo of target practice time with the family.

At one time, there were knife (or hatchet?) throwers in the site next to ours. Thing is, all of the hits were not in the center of the log, so who knows how many missed totally?

Having this to watch out for would NOT have made for a relaxing camping experience!

A lake view, deer in the back yard, and the trail to Cascade Falls left from the next site. Sweet!

I got the "shot of the day" with this beasty hunting rifle at a recent men's breakfast we have for our sunday class. I took out a can about 250 yards away on the first shot. Unfortunately, I couldn't replicate my results on the second try so I should have just left it at that (-:

Aberlady bay. There are 2 miniature XT-class subs here, which were lashed to a concrete tank trap and used for target practice for aerial attack. They become evident at low tide.

Coldest day ever at the beach. The wind was insanely cold.

Isaac hits a bulls eye at about 100 yards.

Found this scene roughly 30 yards from our tent. Someone had placed beer bottles on the ends of broken tree limbs and then shot them off and left the pieces.

Just an accidental shot

Why do so many people who shoot leave trash? The top of this ridge, from where I took the lovely photos that precede these, is completely littered with shells and things that have been shot. Why?

RIFLE RANGE SCHOFIELD BARRACKS HONOLULU HAWAII 1920's PHOTO

This slingshot was made using Crape Myrtle, surgical tubing, waxed string, and tanned leather.

If they don't want you to shoot them why do they make them so darn visible from a distance?
