Belém Tower is a 16th-century fortification located in Lisbon that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. It was built during the height of the Portuguese Renaissance, and is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style, but it also incorporates hints of other architectural styles. The structure was built from lioz limestone and is composed of a bastion and four-storey tower.

With only 20 minutes to spend inside the Olympic Stadium at @olympiapark in Munich, I had to make the most of the views I could find.

Wide, middle and detail shots with the @CanonUSA 17-40mm and the @TamronUSA 100-400mm lenses.

This is another medium-view image. The seating was fantastic for photographing patterns, repetition and shapes.

Virgin Mary tiles (azulejos) in Lar de Santa Estefania in Guimarães, a religious institution that works as a children's home.

Carmo Church was built in the 18th century and is an amazing example of the baroque architecture. Outside, you will find a magnificent panel of blue and white tiles, representing the Brown Scapular imposition on Mount Carmel. The panel is rich in details, perspective and color and was designed by Silvestro Silvestri.

I arrived at Goblin Valley before the sun. As the sun's glow started to grow, I felt someone staring at me; the Dawn Goblin.

I found this beautiful bull moose hiking Mount Timpanogos. He was laying down for about 30 minutes chewing his cud so I waited patiently till he got up.

This is a medium-view image. So many patterns, lines, shapes and shadows. I'm pretty sure I could have spent hours here just inside the stadium itself.

To witness such an incredible array of light coming through a fog and into a forest is almost a life changing experience. Watching it in a redwood forest is a life changing experience.

California redwood trees are massive. The average age of a redwood tree is 800-900 years old but there are some that are over 2000 years old.

The coast redwood is known to have reached 115.5 meters or 379 feet tall with a trunk diameter of 9 m (30 ft).

The Neowise comet over picturesque Cannon Beach. This is the first comet I have ever seen and I am ecstatic that I was able to capture it before it disappeared into a sea of clouds.
