Finally it's warm enough to see ice crystals. Yes, warm enough. Days below -20C were too cold for good ice...and for me.
By tonight, this should be gone with temps forecast to climb almost to zeroC
Don't worry, winters in Canada don't end this early so we'll do this again soon.

Icy invaders from the north settled in when the temperature dropped to -18C overnight. The forecast says they'll all be gone by next week so I'd better catch them while I can.
Took the Tamron for a walk today, as I wanted to get a flower for Macro Monday. Had to work at it, as it was a bit windy!

Dedicated to friends who are leaving KL tomorrow ... even though we only met last year, its been one of those friendships that has felt right from the beginning and will continue wherever we are ... I wish them well in their new posting in South America ... I think they are glad to be moving to a country with seasons ... unlike here :)

This is a gone to seed carrot's flower (I've got some towering parsnip flowers waiting for a photo session also).
