Abandoned sometime ago, was used by an artist for a "1,000 shadows" project - seems to have gone downhill since then.

An intermediate, or yellow-billed, egret (ardea intermedia) taking off from a lily covered pond in Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Thailand. As its name suggests, this egret is somewhere in size between a little egret and a great egret.

My best Egret in flight photo. I believe it is a Great Egret based on its leg color. From my archives in 2006, wetlands near the Chesapeake Bay. Thank you for taking time from your busy day to view, fave and comment on my images. It is always appreciated.

No demano ni espero res d'aquest camí.

El dia desapareix i oblido

aquesta solitud que no té

un lloc on aturar-se.

Ara el més enllà s'apodera del no-res

i això és un paratge anònim

un no espai fora del temps.

Demandi pas res o espèri pas res d'aquel camin.

Lo jorn desapareis e oblidi

aquesta solitud qu'a

pas de luòc per s'arrestar.

Ara l'al delà pren lo dessús del non-res

e aquò's un luòc anonim

un non-espaci fòra del temps.

Thank you for taking a look at my images.
