Rosemarkie Bay one evening I took a walk along the beach, people were going home leaving odd shoes and an old bucket, i collect all the plastic and put it in the bin, why would you leave rubbish in such a lovely place.

Taken at 6.15am on the shore of Loch Lubnaig. We stopped in the layby to get a pan shot of the loch.

The loch shore was strewn with rubbish, beer cans, plastic bags........

It makes my blood boil that people have no regard for the great outdoors.

As we left, the horn accidentally went off several times.

It was obvious that this Gull was tangled as soon as i saw it , noticing that both of its legs were entangled in a discarded crab line. I believed it to be tethered to the ground and was promptly despatched to extrapolate it from its predicament armed with a pair of very small scissors which my wife had in her tardis of an handbag, though on approaching the bird it raised its wings and took to the air & disappears well out of my sight. sometimes you just can't help, but hopefully by posting this image more people will hopefully be inclined to think about the effect of their litter on the world around us.

Taken for the Our Daily Challenge group. Topic for 24 July is SOMETHING I DISLIKE

I do dislike rubbish left in the gutter. This is in the service station car park. Obviously a few too many sachets of sauce etc were taken with the burger so they just got left on the road. Whatever happened to the "Take your litter home" programme

Having watched this juvenile gull eat a number of pieces of polystyrene from discarded food cartons (chip trays?) I was amazed when it set about this discarded training shoe.

this seagull was eating its way through small parts of polystyrene food cartons which were ebbing on the tide, having been broken down over time by the sea.

#2minutebeachclean not sure this counts as all was left by yesterday's visitors :(

Please do visit our stunning coastline and beaches, but take your bloomin' litter home with you!! We don't spend the afternoon in your office/backyard and leave rubbish for you to deal with, have a little respect. #rantover
