7DOS Time Texture Tuesday, The jewelry store open before statehood of Oklahoma. 3rd and Broadway in Muskogee, it is now office space, 10:45am.
Willa and her mom taking the time to smell the flowers while Nana was busy photographing the zoo animals. I happen to turn around just in time to capture this moment between the two.
While out walking on Thursday, the playground equipment called my name! I thought how perfect it would be too shoot through this particular piece of playground equipment and was thrilled to see the bench through the other side!
Just ignore that house though.

"Reflection" has not always come easy to me...I am a 'get~er~done' kinda' gal! I've been great at "action" and not so great at "reflection." Over the years, I've come to learn more, and be better at slowing down, stopping even, and sitting with my thoughts, or with what I'm reading or journaling.
More recently, photography has been a wonderful teacher, to me on reflection. This artform has forced me to slow my pace, take a breath (literally, it helps with camera~shake), take my time, be patient and think about what it is I want to, or am trying to capture!
I am so grateful for these life lessons, that somehow reach me and teach my through my lens!
