This one is on a piece of 8 x 8 inch paper so it's right around 6 inches in diameter. From a while back but recently unearthed.
roughly 5.75 x 6.25 inches. This would be Uncle Cletus. I actually thought about naming him after an uncle who reminds me of this guy but decided that would not be charitable. Accurate, though. I love those random take out containers that end up tossed by the dipsticks who toss litter from their cars on to the parkway in front of my house. I use gloves and clean up the containers and they are recycled. Like here. It's probably sick and wrong but so be it. The guy has a caterpillar for a mouth so how can the rest matter anyway?
We went to our local Taco Bell this afternoon and got:

Photo of the day October 20, 2022 - A local church had a pulled pork BBQ plate sale today. One of the volunteers for the dinner is a listener to the radio station. She surprised me with a plate of food for lunch, and it was very good!
but this flake is from last year. Today's snow is that kind that looks like little clumps of tiny ice, not nice flakes.
Went Downtown today to fly my drone and capture images & videos with my Mirrorless and iPhone cameras too. Flew the drone down at Volunteer Landing. Walked Strong Alley for new mural art. Then went to World's Fair Park for a 2nd drone flight. Also got some photos there too. Picked up my lunch at Yassin's Falafel House. Ended up coming home afterwards.

While vacationing with my wife's family in Virginia, we decided to visit Walker Valley Market in Pearisburg, VA. The store is run by Amish and has grocery items, furniture and more. They also have a deli that serves sandwiches. We had lunch here, I had this turkey cheese sandwich.
February 20, 2020 - My wife and I had supper from Cook Out this evening. Pictured is my cheeseburger and a few hush puppies.
I've decided that Pick Up Stix has some strange employees. On this trip/lunch/adventure, there was ANOTHER person there with an In-N-Out cup. Last time we were there, the manager was eating a Double Double, asking us why we don't like In-N-Out.
I tried to order dosa at one of the food stalls, but they were out of potato filling, so I decided to try something new. This is bhel or bhelpuri, which is a salad of puffed rice, chickpeas, potato cubes, tomatoes, and cilantro, tossed with a spicy, tangy, tamarind sauce.

At 6:30 pm, the shop appeared to be closed and empty so I assume the fruit salad had to spend the night.

Operation BBQ Relief was giving out free BBQ Pork take out meals free to storm victims. I waited in a line of vehicles for more than 90 minutes and got a plate each for my wife and I.
A good friend of mine started the adoption process for her little girl from China almost 4 years ago (next month). Long story short, they were FINALLY able to go to China and bring her home last month!!! =) YAY!!! Some friends and I had a shower for her and these are some pics from the event. I am SOOO excited that they finally have their little girl! It has been a long road but the wait was SO worth it! =)
Anyway, we wanted it to be a baby shower but also incorporate some "Chinese Flair" as well. Ladybugs are supposedly special in China so we went with that theme and were able to find some plates with pink in them! So we were able to use the colors red, black and pink! =) There are more pics from the day in the comments. =)
My wife recently celebrated a birthday. For lunch, we had leftover cake and peanut butter cup ice cream.
We arrived at the Indian food festival earlier this year and managed to get real food instead of fried chiles. This is a combination of lentils, potatoes, cabbage, and rice. So good. The cabbage was the best part. We also got to watch people dance while we ate- children with wrist and ankle bells and men in shiny, silky clothes.

I'm impressed that 99 Ranch started using this fully compostable container for its deli counter. Much better than the soggy paper box.
Photo of the day August 18, 2021 - Grilled chicken deluxe from Chick-Fil-A. My wife and I had take out from Chick-Fil-A for supper this evening.
I think this is a Sri Lankan dish (there was a huge number of food stalls at the festival- I can't remember what they all were). It is a lentil pancake filled with vegetable curry. It's very similar to Indian masala dosa but this was called something else. The pancake is a bit sour and has an interesting texture- it reminds me of Ethiopian injera.
