June 15, 2008 -- I'm sure this is what some people feel like when having a camera pointed at them.

This is a composite of two photographs. I probably could have set it up to make it easier to edit, but I didn't, so I had to do a fair amount of cloning and massaging in Photoshop. (=

The lit subject is me with my old 350D and my 300mm f/4L IS lens. The shadow is me and my Springfield XD-9.

Mmmmm which ones Mr Lee? "all of them"

Just off a residential street this football pitch is hidden behind a row of overgrown trees and bushes on one side, and a train track on the other. The gate was unlocked so I took the opportunity to take some photos. It seemed completely cut off from the urban environment it was in, rabbits were hidden in the long grass and popped up from nowhere when I got too close. I don't have a filter adapter yet for the sigma 10-20mm's 77mm thread so botched my ND filter onto the front of it.

Ventura's landmark restaurant for sushi. I really liked the glow of the sign against the textured wall.

It was a nice evening for our walk. We saw a few dolphins feeding on bait fish as we walked around the marina. Ventura, California.

BEACH HERE I COME!!! XD

a poem I made when I was in High School. :D

Be My Blanket

as i look outside my window

i regret to see falling snow

instead of soft sweet rain

that will wash my pain

slowly i really want to cry

and count each falling tear

but no one is here to wipe it dry

and to hold me dear

my blanket is always with me

with it, ill never be lonely

i know it will make me warm

and keep me safe from harm

i cant help but wonder

who will awake me from my slumber?

someone who will be with me forever

and who'll leave me never

can you be my blanket too?

to cure me when i catch a flu?

someone to hold me tight

in the coldness of the night

i just wish you would be here

right alongside of me, be near

but its ok if you dont want to

what else can i do?

ill just be here staring outside my window

quietly watching the falling snow

and put a little smile on my face

"i miss you", my heart says...
