I love photography because you can not guess whom you will encounter even when going out for shopping. I bumped into this old tailor very next to my home. I realized him thanks to my passion for photography.
my kind of gentleman, cut from a different cloth. he’s solid ground, never rattled, never chasing attention or approval. what you see is exactly who he is. built like a promise in the way he shows up, not in words. consistent, protective without control, firm without the bullshit. made, not marketed. no borrowed confidence, no image to sell. just intelligence, work ethic, and standards he actually lives by. this is the standard of a man, the man i stand beside. and yes, he’s my kind of dangerous.

His workshop opened with a window directly onto the street. I was pleased that he returned to his work after conveying with a nod and a small smile that I was free to take a photograph. Such a relief when subjects refrain from cheesy poses :)

The old lady customer keeps complaining to the tailor about family disputes while she waits, and the tailor always smiles and makes allowances.
So with Talon over, I thought I should post these guys. See, when I started writing Talon, I got way carried away making a bunch of figures in this style. Obviously, they weren't all going to show up in the series, but I wanted to show them anyway.
