We have been to the Moulton Bicycle Club annual weekend meeting at The Hall, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. The home of the late Alex Moulton and the Moulton Bicycle Company.
We are now on the way home.
Tailgating, speeding JCPS School Bus
Here in Jefferson County Kentucky our schools are in such a hurry to be #1 nothing stops them from getting to their destination. Pray for the children on these buses since the hundreds of thousands of dollars in Federal Grants given to Jefferson County to remedy the situation has not worked.
This is every day here - been that way for decades. There is a railroad crossing on Old Henry Road with no gates - during peak traffic times this crossing is a nightmare - school busses cross here many times daily. We had requested crossing gates on these tracks YEARS ago yet to date still no gates.

Lots of race fans sitting in their camp and lawn chairs. Some folks brought canopies. Many grills and baggo/bean bag games to be found. I spotted one Cheesehead pickup truck with a DirecTV dish in the bed and a flat panel LCD TV on the tailgate tuned in to the Packers game. Many folks erected 20ft tall flagpoles to show their allegiance to their favorite drivers, tracks, and racing series. The tailgating went on for many hours before the race and was still going 2 hours after the race.

Tailgating is a favorite for all fans at any college or NFL football game that takes place outside the stadium in the parking lot.
This is tailgating outside of Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington Ky. University of Kentucky Wildcats hosted the University of Akron Zips on this day. The Wildcats won 47-10.
