Scares me just to look at these brave or crazy souls who can do this. I was petrified just getting the lifts up the mountain in Switzerland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Our day finished off on the train to Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Supper at a Cabaret then back to Canada in the morning.
Sometimes the best photos are shot in your own backyard. A bluebird house full of babies keeps this male bluebird busy all day. Both adult birds tagteam with food deliveries. I think there are at least 4 babies.

After watching the Red-headed woodpeckers making multiple trips back and forth from all my feeders, and the Gooodie Bowl of Peanuts, they finally arrived at this feeder at the same time.
From the frequency of their trips, it is pretty clear they were taking food back to their nest.. I've been waiting patiently for a juvenile red-head to show up, but as of yet I haven't seen one. I'm hoping there is at least one, and that it/they are showing up while I'm at work.
