I have been Tagged, so I guess I have to tell 5 things about myself.

1. I love doing this type of photography

2. I spend way to much time on the computer, lol

3. I am really short

4. I love dogs

5. I have 2 granddaughters, who are totally delights.

Now, I will have to tag someone else, I guess. So watch out it could be you

A classic camera resting on the pages of the timeless Enciclopedia Treccani—a perfect pairing of two treasures that preserve history. One captures moments through a lens, while the other captures the world through words and knowledge.

Together, they remind us that storytelling comes in many forms: the click of a shutter or the turn of a page. 📚✨

There’s something divine about this cathedral that speaks to every traveler’s soul—whether you're here as a pilgrim or an admirer of beauty. 🌄

I followed the light, and it led me here... to this masterpiece held by chains of time. ⛓️💛

Tag someone you'd bring on a sunset walk through history. 👣

It was serendipity. While tracing gull steps at my favorite beach, I spied something flash in the sand. An old bottle had washed up and something was inside. After wrestling with the cork, I pulled out a folded piece of paper. It was from my LA friend, Hillany, who had disappeared on her way to a Phish concert nearly two months ago!!

I read with shaking hands. She'd been gone so long. No one had heard from her and we feared for her safety. She thought nothing of going off on her own with only her backpack and relying on the generosity of other Phish fans.

The note was short. It read: "HELP! I am hostage in a warehouse near Seattle. Guys have guns and bad breath. Please find me. Hillany Scofield."

My first thought was to contact our friend Doutz who lived near there and get her on the case. There was no time to waste!

The White Canvas Gallery challenges you to write your own story.

1. Someone has to tag you for you to qualify to do a sequel picture.

2. Assuming someone has tagged you, you have 3 days to think of a sequel picture and post it to Flickr. If you cannot do it then ask the person who tagged you to tag someone else. (3 days time period is done to keep this moving at a fair pace). If the storyline gets stuck with someone for too long, the moderators or admins of this group reserve the right to assign it to someone else in the group just to keep it moving. So dont lose your chance !

3. Tag someone to follow you, they will need to create another pic within 3 days, help them as much as you can.

4. Post your pic to this group

www.flickr.com/groups/twc-serendipity/

5. Feel free to write out your story in the description, just make sure these rules appear on your post at the bottom of your description

6. To help with sequence, i strongly urge that you start your title with "Scene [number]". the number is whatever your scene number is, one more than the previous.

Dear sponsors and friends. I'm moving to another apt. That means I won't be able to post for some time until I move, understand why it happened to me again and install PC and internet 😁

My apologies for inconveniences, I'll try to get to blogging ASAP.

Thank u for understanding. See u soon ❤

P.S. Sorry if didn't tag someone from my sponsors, I'm in a hurry a bit 😳

Pictures help us retain these memories, but it’s easy to lose focus of being present. Take a few photos to capture the moment, and then just be. Watch that sunrise, listen to the waterfall, take a few deep breaths.

Enjoy it, because it’s happening.

Inspiration However, the boy in the inspiration photo and his mother are pure geniuses when it comes to creativity. They so own me in this, but, I gave it a shot and tried something I never have before. Will I be getting this dirty by this process ever again? Doubtful. However, I might do it with someone else. :P

I felt so paranoid going into my backyard and taking this photo. Luckily, I just now took it. It's 8am. No one was outside and hardly any cars were driving by. I still felt awkward. lol.

I created this image after I decided to go back to basics and create like a beginner again. What a gorgeous thing to do for yourself - the ultimate in creative self-kindness. I talk about why I made it and show the process of making it (including lots of paint!) in my new video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJaKUTzPIGg

Because I've received so much kindness this week from strangers, friends and companies, I wanted to pay it forward. My computer was breaking and I was about to buy a new one when I heard from Microsoft who sent me one instead. I'm using $150 of that money to give away to someone who could use it.

To enter, leave a comment here or on my blog www.promotingpassion.com/create-like-a-beginner/ to let me know about yourself or a friend who could use it. Tag someone who you think should enter.

It was one more lousy morning in old L.A. She sat at her desk in her shabby office and had her breakfast. Well breakfast was a glas of Scotch and a cigarette this morning. To be honest, that was her breakfast every morning. She mumbled something like „fuckin` city of fuckin´ angels and gulps down the Scotch when suddenly her phone rang.

She lifted the receiver and to her surprise she heard the voice of Kimmy. At the first hello she knew Kimmy was in trouble and as she heard the name Ben Dover she knew Kimmy was in big trouble. After she got the full story, she leaned back and closed her eyes.

All that seemed senseless. Hills, Myra, Kimmy, what the fuck, she said to herself and took another Scotch. As she lifted the glas she watches the wet circle the glas left on that old map on her desk and her eyes got wide.

LITTLEBOOTS!! There was a village in New Mexico called Littleboots and not enough with that, Littleboots was in an area called Wildmist Hills! She knew she shouldn´t swear so much but that was a fuckin´fuck fucked up situation and it was not the time to quit swearing.

FUCK she shouted, it´s not the girls, it´s the names and for sure it´s a trap for Myra. That is a damned message. But what message, for whom. Ben Dover is not smart enough for creating such a riddle. The only one she knew who was known for playing those fuckin´ mean games was a guy called Joker and even he was last seen in New Mexico. That can´t be by chance.

She remembered that girl that once was her friend. A cold hearted bitch and tough cookie called TeeCee. She lived in New Mexico and had best connections to every hoodlum around. She was the leader of the Goldshark Gang and she owed her a favor. With another loud FUCK and a bit irritated because a thought of a red rose crossed her mind (she hates roses) she dialed the number.

TeeCee? It´s time to do me the favor you owe me............

Details

I totally missed #WorldPhotographyDay yesterday, but I'm remedying that today with this celebration. For the sake of uplifting on such an important day for so many of us, please tag someone you admire in the photography field.

Photography has been my life for a decade. From the first time I took a self-portrait in a small apartment in Philadelphia to now, still taking self-portraits in my more comfortable home in Arizona, I have loved each second of how photography has transformed me.

Photography gave me a clear voice - not just a voice, because that I already had - but it sharpened my voice like a knife's edge. It gave me a community of weirdos - is there any better kind? And it gave me a path that led me to wonders I hadn't dreamed of.

All of this not without help. This #worldphotographyday I celebrate the people who have been there for me consistently to say "who you are and what you do is important, even when it doesn't feel like it". Some of them are companies that feel more like family who took a chance to help launch and sustain my career, like: CreativeLive that took a chance on me to teach their first fine art class that went on to reach thousands upon thousands in our community. Like Sony who took a chance on me to represent fine art in their Artisan lineup to make all the weirdo creators feel like they had someone like themselves represented in the industry.

Like White House Custom Colour who from day 1 told me that no matter what I ever do for them, whether it be absolutely nothing or everything, they simply want to support someone who stood for something good in the world.

Thank you for recognizing me as a leader in the photographic arts - I re-stake my claim that I am a curious beginner soul and I vow to keep learning.

And to the individuals, too many to list, who have held me up in my art and in my doubts, in my fear and in my triumphs...for it takes a person who holds you up in all those circumstances to be considered real and lasting...you have been my photography heroes, even those of you who aren't photographers. Really, I mean YOU, this community, my beacon and light in dark times. I wish I could tell you what you mean to me. It's everything. We are everything.

Enio57 .

Few times a year they park this car in the middle of nowhere. When you look back there is only a forest and when you look ahead there is massive freight car. Yes! The best model. To reach the level of car we had to stand on 1m boxes. We were painting with some cheap cans. My piece really sucks. I had a kind of empty-head-period-of-time. Really - no ideas and I started to hate my tag letters. I finished in 2h and during this time Enio did propably 1/3 of fill-in. As always ;)

I did a flop on the other car and some tags. Someone saw this flop 6 months later but I am wondering what happened to those colours.

It's my Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary today (May 1). I woke up this morning with this thought in mind: true love never dies.

My photostream is becoming repetitive arrg, I guess that's what happens when you're locked up in your cave for almost a week. I'm just sooo glad to have seen, and hugged, and talked with, and laughed with family and friends today, after a long tiring week of being imprisoned in my teenyweeny apartment.

I hope to take more outdoor shots next week, and maybe tag someone along to take photos with me. (Now who could that person be?)

[Project 365, Day 14: April 30, 2009]

1. Take one of your dolls now and make a shot of her/his hand in your hand.

2. Tag as many friends as you like.

Thank you so much to those who tagged me :) And I'm sorry if I tagged someone that has already done this tag!
