New York City Street Performers. Today I hung out with the tourist and tried to blend in and watch these street performers do what they do. I wanted to try give the iphone 5S burst mode a try and do something creative. I almost forgot it existed. If you don't know what I'm talking about, the next time you take a photo with your iphone 5S, hold down the shutter button and you'll hear it snapping away until you let go of the shutter button. It will group the photo into 1 photo. Underneath the photo click on favorites and all the shots will be available there. All editing done on the iPhone. Apps used. Tadaa! A wristlet for my secret partner. The pouch has small darts at the corners to give it a gently rounded shape. I really like the radiating hexagon quilting, it worked out better than I had hoped. Blogged.

A slightly bigger pouch for makeup or cosmetics or ... I have used again some vintage linen as background fabric ....

Dear Valentine,
I love you everyday. But today I will love you just that bit extra by telling you that you are special. You've learnt to love yourself well enough that you love others easily ... with no conditions. You've learnt to love yourself enough that you've learnt to have no time or sympathy for those who are toxic, who are not true to themselves and most of all, you've learnt that hypocrisy is for those who don't know who they are.
You're okay, kiddo, given the path you've travelled. You don't seek to be understood any longer. You're just you and I can see you're quite happy with it. Yes, sometimes the nightmares return, sometimes the Black Dog hounds you, but you also know to be selfish, love yourself and pick yourself right back up.
You don't need flowers, cards and chocolates from those you love. You are secure knowing they love you - through thick and thin.
Know that you're really awesome and I like you a heck of a lot now.

A trip to the (river) Reuss delta revealed this fluffy friend. It is a beautiful nature reserve that, unfortunately, was not as photogenic as expected. Embedded into high mountains, there is no such thing as a golden hour. With 4 TB of unused memory cards, this adolescent wagtail meant to say: Tadaa! Wasn't it worth to come here just to see me?
