These actually came pretty close to what they looked like in the movie, their weapons are different, since apparently a decent 1/6 M4 with all the tacticool goodies costs over $30, so I went with the cheaper and far cooler looking magpul masada rifles from sideshow toys
This is what my workspace looks like while I remodel my room. Basically this and the fact that my fucking detail brush splayed are the reasons why I haven't posted any customs as of late.
If you want try and play some "I spy" and see if you spot any suuuper top secret WIPs and un posted shit.
Please Read: If you know what citadel paint color is closest to TLC dark tan please share. Also I hate greenstuff and I want to step up my sculpting, what putty should I use?
Anything I should change?

Tacticool
Credit to Zach for Workspace and Cross for his fire selector (I recolored it slightly and made it a bit longer)
With a 390mm barrel for the main rifle and a 180mm barrel for the integrated SMG/PDW the TI MPDR is a precision weapon in any situation. Capable of accepting 5.56 NATO, 6.5 Grendel , 6.8 Spc and 7.62x51 NATO in the rear magwell (with only an adapter required to change calibre) and 9x19, .45 and 5.7 rounds in the SMG/PDW magwell (the grip)
I will return to this at a later date for the tacticool right side version.
Strobist:
Two strobes; one on either side of the rifle, both modified with 20x28" double-diffused softboxes. Face of softboxes approximately 6" from rifle surface, angled slightly downward and towards the camera to minimize spillage onto the backdrop. Backdrop is a black bedsheet about 3 or 4 feet behind the subject.
My apologies for not having the lighting info the first time I submitted. I had typed it into the Lightroom description, but for some reason it wasn't preserved on upload.
Some moar guns!!!!
The first one is an M16 used during the vietnam war, recognised all over the world as the weapon of choice by the U.S.A.
The second one is an M4 with an extended hanguard, a built in supressor, a 5X scope, a fixed scope and a olive green paint job. Sometimes less=more.
The third one is an AR15 set up as an SBR, witch features a collapsable stock, a shortend barrel, a custom supressor, an angled foregrip, a holographic sight and a laser. "tacticool"
The third one is another AR15
witch features custom handguard, a muzzle break, an angeld foregrip, flip up sights, a micro red dot sight and a sweet paintjob. FREEDOM!!

This is a Home Defense Weapon that uses 12 Gauge shells and has a four round tube magazine and a guard on the front grip and a ceramic heat shield and can be easily concealed in a trench coat or in a car.
I love tacticool shotguns but as you can see, I'm not very good at making them :P
Now it's time for 0.7 I have something in mind so stay tuned ;)

In order to keep the spirit of the "Let's go back" contest alive, I will be making minor recreations of various older firearms while I plan the next large project with the rest of my team. Hopefully other teams are working on their guns as well :P
Intentions aside, here is my rendition of the Ingram M6 SMG, in both "traditional" and "tacticool" varieties. Enjoy.
Well here is a totally original combo of old custom parts I built and have shown you all b4, namely my sidemount collapsible bi-pod, and carry scope, plus my new customized AR & AK grips, clamp-on suppressor, folding SOCOM stock with elevated cheek rest and extra butt-padding, Modular Accessory Combat Masterkey go to psyk0-w01f.deviantart.com to read credits for parts I used for it, and my converted to G36 piston gas system AR15 to allow for the removal of the buffer tube normally an essential part of the gun preventing use of folding stocks.
I purchased new hardware recently, and picked up the xacto and the brush to tune it up a bit.
These two figures are very rapidly becoming my favorite figures, as I can't seem to take them apart. Expect to see more of them with gradual changes.
Enjoy.
I plan on changing the rifle out since rangers use some kind of modified tacticool M4 variant which I did find but I gotta wait for the money it's kinda expensive...

Delta Xray Submachine Gun 9mm
Paramaters:
Overall length - 410mm (with stock collapsed) [it's about 1/2 length of mp5a2 when collapsed and 2/3 when extended)
Barrel lenght - 225mm
Ammunition - 9x19 Parabellum
Magazine - 40round hellical
ROF - 750-800 RPM
Due to this gun compactness, it's the favorite choice for crewmen and pilots of DX Shock Core.
Forgive me some grouping errors:D Took me about 3 hours (with breaks)
Also I'm planning .45 ACP version, silenced version, 'tacticool' version (base has no rails:D) and fixed stock version. Stay tuned:D
Re-took the picture after I added a flashlight. c:
I also used a lighter on the legs to secure the e-tape and it ended with a nice worn effect, similar to what Clippy did.
I’d like to introduce to you the tacticool strobist bag. I was in the market for a bag for my new Gitzo 1541T tripod but wasn’t happy with anything I found. Most were too bulky and/or long, which defeated the purpose of having travel-sized gear. Speedlites are my strobe of choice for their portability and convenience so in that vein I also use Manfrotto 001B Nano light stands (19″ when collapsed), and double-fold umbrellas. Luckily, I found a bag that fits everything! You can find it at County Comm (I love this place).
Meet the Maratac Extreme SAT-COM bag.

Two more weapons adapted from Poke's tacticool shotgun frame:
Top: HK417 longbarrel version with bipod and foregrip for sniper duty.
Middle: Dragunov version, slightly up-calibred.
Bottom: The frame in question. Feel free to use as long as you credit Poke, not me.

For the purists among us who despise all modern and/or tacticool AKs ... a well-used old-school AK-47 with a milled Type-3 receiver and original plywood furniture. Circa: 1957.
This is an old build (see original here: www.flickr.com/photos/53459776@N03/7683534854/in/album-72...).

Just in case I ever wanted to replicate one. Notes on names of parts.
Top: MW3 AK47
Bottom: MW2 AK-47 (Furniture would need to be Dark Earth)
Some people will say monstrosity. I would agree, but I think it's also cool.
