Just a fun little build.

I think its more plain than my last few, but I tried to keep the quality of work the same.
Personally I really like how it came out.
I had to cheat a lil with the rails, but I think it still works due to a lil illusion.

Dropped some cash getting a few blue printed minifig.cat vests, and pretty much every part you see on that 'fig. I made a few 'figs like him for reasons. Also wanted to show off the suppressed Tavor I put together. And I also redesinged the blue drone I made a while ago since it was originally too fragile. And I made a few of them too also for reasons.
Holy.
I finished it.
This is probably the best fig I've ever made. So much work went into him. I based my Simon Riley off of multiple variations of him, with some creative license along the way; He's mostly meant to be based off the version from this screenshot, where you can see the bley shirt, multicam legs, black shapes near his cuffs, Brit arm insignias, and more that went into this guy. Obviously I added a tac vest, which he of course shows up in in other variations. I really should've sponged on dark bley on the light bley to achieve the speckled shirt that you can see in that reference pic before I started sculpting. Oh well. I like him like this.
Now, I know the English flags on his shoulders would be in a grayscale if I wanted to be super accurate, but doing them in color gave me a chance to show off how tiny I can paint :3
Yes those are quickmag pouches. Yes I should have cleaned up the black/bley transition on the middle one. Yes I sculpted one then casted them. And yes I am satisfied with them.
THE MULTICAM. I think this is one of the best camos I have ever painted. Real Multicam is a really interesting pattern--The initial and secondary color (darker tan and OD) are over the base tan in an unusual way. You see, parts of the darker tan and OD blobs blend out into the base color, while other parts of the blobs have very defined, contrasting edges. This made it incredibly difficult to reproduce, making utilization of paint washing in a small area crucial, and I'm not sure how successful I was. The dark brown and very light tan upper 'dot' colors were pretty easy, since they have entirely well-defined edges. But I have never put more work into camouflage. There's 5 and a half hours in those legs, easily.
Also that's why I didn't pouch and tacticool them up. I'm too egotistical and didn't want to cover my multicam :3
Oh and the headset is removable. It only requires a small notch cut into the top of the stud on a minifigs head. Doesn't interfere with hat-wearing (obviously when the headset is off) at all.

Inspired by Rifle Dynamics' AK builds, the "Phoenix" is a 7.62x39mm "tacticool" AK rifle. The internals were polished up, but otherwise stock in keeping with the Kalashnikov's reliability. Externals wise, the rifle has been lightened and has become a more ergonomic weapon system. The rifle also sports a prototype "Redi-Mag" system, as well a integral and removable Trijicon RMR.

A private mercenary going under the code name "ShockWave" came in looking for a hard hitting reliable weapon to use for his contracts, he wanted it to be in his beloved AR-15 style while being chambered in 308. and capable of automatic fire he also wanted a reliable sight and magpul magazine. Needless to say we built it thanks to that shady guy down in the alley called Beck for some of those nice rails, kudos to ShockWave for the already drawn receiver, and thanks to a local badass called Jake for the wonderful ACOG. Did these both last week.
The SPAS I just threw together since I had it laying around as a failed mod from years ago. I then took the stock and trigger guard from the other mod shown.
The Pump Action I still have no idea what I actually intended it to be. I was aiming for a Mossberg but I can't find any with the style of stock I used. Anyway, the main reason I made it was to have something with a Salvo-12 suppressor on it. My original goal was to make it out of a Assault Carbine handguard and have it removable, but I fOOPed up with drilling and ended up screwing it up, so I resorted to using the handguard of an LMG and just glued it on. Also added a holographic sight from a crap mod, a TT shotgun saddle, and, as already said, a fixed stock and grip.
A mod I've had laying around for like a month. I don't like this mod very much, so I didn't want to upload it, but I decided to anyway.

Also, the mag is removable, and is gunmetal because that's the only MG34 drum mag I have.

This was from start supposed to be really guick and easy build. I didn't won't to put any effort into it. I wanted to keep it simple, not tacticool, not anything. So I won't mind if you will delete this from PMG pool and also with this I apologize myself.
But I think that someone could find this nice and that is why I uploaded it. If you want to enjoy it, see it in full resolution. Althought I'm not so details fanatic like some of my VRW brothers, I think there are some nice details. It's my first build in scale 400 also.

I've been slowly and passively working on these guys over the years. After getting a parts order a few weeks ago I decided to post an update photo.
Recently I started getting into Phonk music, and apparently that motivated me into making a whole photo series of my special ops figs. I mean, phonk and tacticool, its like peanutbutter and jelly. They just go together so well. One of the inspo chats I'm in they were also posting a lot of night vision images, which helped inspire this shot. Very satisfied with the laser effects, though I was struggling to get the reflective glow on the NODs looking right.

Baclground - way back when the Lone Ranger lego theme was announced I built a rough MOC, then I contacted Aurimax to get the bricks I needed to make this. Finally I've now constructed a base I like after more failed attempts than I care to remember. I've been told I need to make more vehicles for my figs so I have now obliged. :D
