This decorative bowl would look lovely anywhere in your home and on you party table. It was wheel thrown from a red stoneware clay and altered to have an oval shape. A botanical decoration was strategically placed on each side and the rim was altered to have a ruffled or shirred appearance and decorated on the top edge as well. It was glazed in a lovely speckled aqua glaze that has a lot of visual depth and pattern. The glaze breaks nicely on the edges showing the darkness of the clay body and accentuating the design. It would make a lovely gift for a wedding, housewarming, or other special occasion.
