so confession...this turned almost nothing like my inspiration piece. but even still, it felt good to play around with different set ups and angles. the key for me, as usual is to let go of the image i have in my head and let it come together on its own.

Shell plates, shells in sand in martini glasses as place settings and shells scattered on the table create this setting.

Day 1/31
Hello again everyone. This year I'm going to attempt a daily mini tablescape for the month of October.
I ended up using the Gloria dishes as a press for the plates! I printed up larger black and white plates, thinking I was going to use the extra Gloria dishes. Set for Christmas - 18/25
For the third year in a row, I am setting my table each day on the run up to Christmas Day.
Today the table is set for a lunch of home-made carrot and corriander soup followed by a smoked salmon bagel with a bit of salad.
I've been going back and forth for some time on whether getting a mini kotatsu table would be worth it-- decided to give it a try, and it's been good! I like to take close up photos of the food so the table's smaller surface area makes for lesser bare space, which I like-- the food pieces have become the star of the photo. :)
