Our tablemates at the Hofbrau House

This is my first finished project for my patchwork/quilting class: a tablemat!

Taurus Table Mats are refreshingly colorful.

Our tablemates had fancy decorations.

Two of my tablemates @AdventureGirl and @dens moments before the infamous Astrovan U-turn.

Our tablemates were good and actually stayed put.

Table 233 - our assigned table for the late (8:30) dinner seating. Our tablemates were Linda and Clive (front), and Joyce and Tony (rear).

Very fine, handcrafted glass placemats. Unigue designs, a variety of patterns and colours.

There's no menu at Mrs. Wilkes. You're seated at a community table with everything all laid out and you're bill's a flat rate $16, gratuity optional. You take some and pass it down, and I dare you not to get to know your tablemates. I had a little of everything -- even the rutabaga (in the bowl directly in front of the camera) which I had vowed never to eat again after my mom made it one Thanksgiving a long time ago.

Drinking beer requires intense concentration.
