From May 1933 a small format folder advertising GEC's "Magnet" range of electric fans that shows both pedestal table and bracket fans for a range of uses. As well as the "cooling breezes" the fans deliver, the folder also shows the Magnet two-way adaptor designed to allow the fan to be run off an electric lamp bayonet socket; I recall such items and the long flexes from my grandparents houses!
The cover has an eye-catching and slightly deco feel to it as the 'cooling breezes' get to work.

I've been having a bad few days with respect to self-portraits. I decided to try something simple and did a little experiment using a table fan and the light in my kitchen.
The light on my face is from one of the lamps in my kitchen and the table fan is blowing my hair behind.
Tomorrow is a new day and I hope all my grand ideas for self-portraits pan out then.
