this is my new table. I am very proud of it; we've built it ourselves over the week-end. My dad and my fiancé made all the cutting and putting together and I painted it. Let me tell you that you are going to see a lot of it!
Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa . Table Mountain is at the northern end of a sandstone mountain range that forms the spine of the Cape Peninsula. To the south of the main plateau is a lower part of the range called the Back Table. On the Atlantic coast of the peninsula, the range is known as the Twelve Apostles.
Got this table as a gift from a commission piece I did for an Ebay display. Now it displays some of my paper ornaments.
The room is filled with linen covered tables, polished silverware, an abundance of art deco and TinTin prints, as well as vintage champagne buckets.

The table and chairs were made by Gilbert Logan at the cabinet workshops of Harland and Wolff Belfast in 1911/12.
Destined for the private quarters of the Captain and Master Captain Edward Smith, they were not ready in time for the maiden voyage of the Titanic and so have survived after the Titanic struck an iceberg on Sunday 14th April 1912.
These are owned by Harland and Wolff but are on permanent display at the Harbour commissioners office.
The table is made from satinwood and i think it's fair to say that the set is worth a small fortune
You can tell Dana has come home when... She's taking graphic design in Medicine Hat but comes home for Christmas and a few holidays. This summer she's back for the summer working at a design firm here in Regina.
This was actually part of the Thanksgiving table setting, as there was a card table set up to the left and son Tony and family brought another small table so we could get all 12 seated in my small living and dining room.
I had put the fan toy the cats don't like on the table set to on so the little paper butterflies spun around and they didn't make any move to get on the table -- worked like a charm! LOL!

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN -This little coffee table is super-cute. Hailing from the late 50s or 60s, the tapered wood legs are topped with pink laminate which has thin lines delineating a diamond pattern. The original bubble-gum pink has been faded by sun exposure to a pale, understated color.

This table is made in an edition of 50 by The Gallery of wonderful.
Measuring 200x90x76 its made from Chestnut, the same wood used for school desks back in the 1950's. In homage to the school desk, you will find a vast storage compartment hidden in the middle of the table, which is accessed by removing the two hand-cast stainless steel ink wells on the top. The table is sealed and matt varnished for protection.
Other tables have been designed by Martin Rowson, Gary Taxali and Keaton Henson. They will set you back £7250
This small side table was designed to fit into a small space at the end or arm of a sofa. This is why it is quite small for its small footprint. The splay on the legs helps with stability. The legs are wedged into rails which run in tapered slidind dovetail slots in the underneath of the tabletop. This locks the legs in, keeps the top flat and also allows it to be relatively easily flat packed. The legs are planned octagonal so it can be made without a lathe.

Halloween themed table lamp.
I used a simpe (non LEGO) table lamp with a simple socket and a switch and surrounded it completely with LEGO.
There's a black cat, a pumpkin, a (rainbow) ghost and a vampire castle.
It's built in a modular way, so that each side panel can be easily removed and replaced by any other motif when it's not Halloween any more.
