Al fresco, di notte - the Dalston Curve Garden is both a community-run space for gardeners and an open air bar/café.
Also known as the Eastern Curve Garden, it was created in 2010 on waste land that had been part of the old Dalston Junction station which was demolished in 1970.

I have begun making a new gaming table. The dimensions are 4' x 4', and I have ordered folding shelves so that I may have two extra feet on either side of the table that can extend its width to eight feet.
I didn't take a picture of my previous gaming table, but the best shot I have of it is here. I felt it needed to be bigger, better built, and have a better paint job.
The tabletop is made of 3 joists Ansi and Peretz took out of a constuction site a while back. The frame is custom built out of 1inch tube stock.

Once I arrived in Port Aux Basques, I drove along the Trans Canada Highway, and it wasn't long before I decided to pull over to take a shot of Table Mountain. It's 518 meters tall and has a very flat top, hence the name. I would guess that the top is flat from glacial erosion, but I can't say for sure. This is a 5 shot panorama. I cropped it down, so it's probably only using 3 or 4 of the photos.
Those paper plates (left over from parties in years gone by) are really ugly. I don't have enough real plates for a large party, but I'm going to figure out something different in the future. I bet I can find some kind of plastic plates (that I can reuse, thus not being environmentally wanton). If not, I think I would prefer to use the biodegradable paper plates made from potatoes and corn or whatever it is. (The little white cards in front of a couple of dishes are pointing out alcohol content.)
I took to the streets during the Hockey All-star week in Nashville. I was also forced to use another Photo Lab. Read the story and see more images here: www.shutteringthrulife.com/nashville-streets-part-1-1-of-2/
