Ecology Recycling and Transportation Services runs 61 Kenworth T880s equipped with PACCAR MX-11 engines rated at 430 hp with 1,550 lb-ft. of torque. The company's drivers see no difference in top-end performance, and in Arizona, are able to run up to 75 mph. As Ecology runs tractor and trailer combinations at the maximum gross weight of 80,000 pounds on nearly every load, drivers find the pulling power of the PACCAR MX-11 engine is excellent. (This photo is offered for editorial use. In addition to Kenworth branding and logos on the T880, Western Trailers logo and brand may not be altered or removed from the trailers prior to publication.)
Taken at the Midwest Regional Tow Show sponsored by the Towing and Recovery Association of Ohio and held annually at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio just North of Cincinnati.
Englewood's home location is out of Clayton, Ohio and they have 4 other locations. They service the greater Dayton, Cincinnati and SW Ohio area and provide mobile truck repairs on the 4 major Interstate Highways in the area. They must have a pretty large fleet of trucks. I love the color and tasteful paint scheme of their trucks.

The truck is equipped by Custom Built out of Kane Pennsylvania. The delivered the new truck to Milford Towing at the show. The boom and wheel lift of their design seen in this shot is unique to my limited knowledge. The wheel lift is attached to the boom while all others I've noticed are separate. I would think this would add weight to the boom when it is lifting. I don't know the physics, but personally, I don't think I'd want any extra weight on the boom during a lift, but I guess they know what they are doing and I was told they are able to make them cheaper this way. These trucks are very expensive, so saving a little money may well be desirable.

1983 Leyland Titan TNL112RR H44/24D
Most of the T class was powered by Gardner 6LXB engines, but T876 to T880 were fitted with Leyland TL11's and T881 to T885 had the naturally-aspirated L11. All except T879 were initially allocated to Catford Garage and mostly transferred en mass to Bow at the end of 1987. T879 went to Upton Park but also ended up at Bow, after which they were generally dispersed.
As one of the largest manufacturers of hardwood lumber in the Northeastern United States, Wagner Hardwoods processes 60 million board feet of timber annually.
Wagner Hardwoods of Owego, New York, runs a fleet of 52 trucks, primarily T880s and T800s. The company is now up to 19 T880s, purchased through the Kenworth Northeast Group headquartered in Buffalo. There are self-loader “picker” trucks and semi tractors that pull walking floor vans for chips, lowboys for heavy equipment, conventional log trailers, and "covered wagons" for kiln-dried lumber.
Blackpool Transport 219 (T880 RBR) is seen on Talbot Road, outside the old bus station and the waste of time car park, whilst working a 7 journey to Lytham.
The bus has been part of a merry go round of withdrawals and re-instatements. It doesn't really make much sense as the bus seems to drive very well and recently received some attention with new sets and newly powder coated poles inside, which actually makes it one of the smarter members of the fleet, complete with LED destination.
This is one of the ex Go North East buses acquired in 2004.
