A late WSOR train T4 is rolling right along on another frigid day, kicking up some fresh powder into Lima Center, WI.
EMDX SD70ACe-T4 #7225 is seen leading CP train 850 through Secretan Saskatchewan in the last light of the day.
Philadelphia Museum of Art. The hawks are spending a lot of time behind the Museum. Given the number of squirrels’ nest, it's obvious why.

WSOR trainT4 is crawling through Williams on another beautiful 2018 winter day. Its been a great start to the year!
Philadelphia Museum of Art. F2 was at the Rodin museum well before sunrise. T4 split from Logan just as I arrived. By the time I caught up with them, they were resting on this griffin at the art museum (discussing possible nest locations?). All the while, the visiting male juvenile red-tailed hawk managed to stay out of the adults' sight in a pine tree just south of Eakins Oval.
Logan Square, Philadelphia. T4 approaches a ledge where the hawks seem to be holding a repository of food. F2 was already there, eating (she's sitting on the left edge of the frame here).

The male hawk was hunting at Logan Circle this morning. He wasn't too serious about it, though, which suggests he'd had an early breakfast.

A brief respite from chasing pigeons at the Vine St. Expressway interchange
Between thunderstorms, the hawks survey the grounds behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art in search of dinner.
F2 seems to be fully acclimated to the territory. She's mid-way through her first molt, showing 6 red tail feathers. Her eyes are still bright yellow.
Logan Circle, Philadelphia
When I showed up just before sunrise, both hawks were perched in one of the plane trees on Logan Circle. F2 took off as soon as she saw me. A short while later T4 began feeding on a rat cached on a lamp post. He ate the whole thing!
NVAG T4 is running round its through coach at Dagebüll Mole, providing a connection to WDR's ferry "Nordfriesland", built in 1995. Back in 1996, passengers were not provided much of weather protection.
Philadelphia Museum of Art. Both hawks seem so be doing fine following the recent rat poison scare. F2 still has one juvie tail feather to shed. T4 is currently undergoing what is probably his fourth molt.
Logan Square, Philadelphia. T4 still often starts his day with breakfast at Logan Square and spends afternoons at the museum. Presumably F2 is still around too, although she seems to prefer hangouts with much less human traffic.
