Les gorges de la Nesque dans les monts de Vaucluse, entre Monieux et Méthamis, sont un canyon creusé par la Nesque. Les gorges démarrent au sud de Monieux, juste après le plan d'eau et à une altitude de 625 mètres, pour finir au pied du bourg de la commune de Méthamis, à une altitude d'environ 270 mètres.

Stitched a few iPhone 6 shots. Fantastic looking island, but driving is not without risk. Lots of reckless young people see these roads as racing tracks and perform some amazing tricks that make your heart skip a beat. Roads are full of skid marks, burnt asphalt and of course the flowers with pictures.
Some locations were just too dangerous even to place the flowers, so when I saw multiple bouquets I immediately thought about who the flowers were for. The victim of the car accident or he or she that got unlucky when trying to place the flowers...
I could just avoid a car that got in to a spin at this very spot after it had rained.

A bit blown out at the top I realised, but amazed at doing this hand held.
The size of Prussian 'T20' Class 2-10-2 tank No.95 1027-2, of Blankenburg shed, can be appreciated in this view of it running from Rübeland sub-shed, following servicing, to take up its train for Blankenburg at Rübeland, a Harz village popular with day-trippers for the two Devonian limestone show caves, one of which, Hermannshöhle, can be seen behind.
