Armed with my newly-purchased Pentax Spotmatic camera and f1.4 50mm lens there was no stopping me as time allowed, but alas time was short for the remaining steam on DB metals, certainly as far as the older ex-Prussian classes were concerned. Friday 28th April 1972 found two of the last handful of DB Prussian 'T16.1' (Baureihe 94.5) 0-10-0 tanks dumped around the turntable at Bw Dillenburg. As well as 094 639-2 out of view, 094 652-5 had also been withdrawn from service and awaited its fate. They had previously worked both freight and local passenger services between Dillenburg and Biedenkopf. Dillenburg depot was the last station in the DB area where the DRG Class 94.5 (Prussian T16.1) was still used in scheduled mainline service. Unfortunately I was just a week or so too late to see the 'T16s' working. In fact the 110-year reign of steam at this depot came to an end on the following Tuesday 2nd May, when a class 094 was diagrammed for a special commemorative run from Dillenburg. On the occasion of my visit, there were four '094' Class 0-10-0 tanks and six Class '050' 2-10-0s on shed, of which only one of the latter class was in steam. It was to be another 35 years before I would see one of these fine Prussian locomotives in action, although they did survive with the DR for a few more years after I made this visit to Dillenburg, but sadly out of reach for me!

"T-16s are a lot like the snubfighters we're using."
"I know, I looked one over. I'm sure I can handle it."

This is a stretch satin g-string and looks SO sexy on :D
The base price is $30 and includes being worn for one day before being sealed in a plastic bag, photos of me wearing them, and the cost of shipping. I will wear them for longer or perform certain actions in them for a slightly higher price. Don't hesitate to ask! Email me at ctbackyardeliza@gmail.com
Looked very smart in the late afternoon spring sunshine. The MoT check site shows it having done an impressive mileage, 188k when last tested.
