Power of Tilt& Shift , adapter borrowed ( I know I know) , everything in focus though planes are not parallel.
After my early morning sunrise I’d spent the rest of the day catching up on photos and trying to work out how exactly I was going to get back to Beijing. No closer to a solution I decided I would head back up to the wall for sunset. To my dismay it seemed the fog only disappeared in the mornings so I opted for an early night and another sunrise the next morning.
3:30am came and I set out for my trek back up the wall. This time I tried for a different section a little higher up. Some photos I’d seen of Jinshanling before arriving in China showed the valleys with cloud and the wall sitting gloriously above so I was excited when I saw a little mist starting to form on my ascent. Unfortunately however, it didn’t eventuate into much.
This is a sunrise shot facing back onto the Jiangjun Tower (Generals Tower) with the sunrise behind me.

One of the last T-bird runs of 2017 bring with it bitter cold temperatures. The overnight night low was a cool -27 F but the daylight sun brought the air temp up a bit to -15 for this shot.

My dog is very interested in the T.V. she gets very loud barking at the animals saying hello. Santa gets a hello also. She likes the News with many things moving around. Watching has been her thing to do it keeps her busy in between sleeping. Thanks for viewing.

Returning from a trip to the Highlands it was time for an afternoon break at Crawford to get a shot of that distinctive forestry plantation.
RTT showed a southbound Freightliner working but it turned out to be a light engine so I waited for this instead

Another image of the T-13 wind turbine pedestal up at the glen devon wind farm above the upper reservoir. This was taken from the same POV with the same lens and focal distance of 200 mm but this time in landscape orientation. If I am honest I dont know which I prefer, the previous version is a little more minimalist but the fence adds a little more interest especially when viewed large. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on which you prefer if any that is and why?. Hope you are all having a good Sunday

Out yesterday morning, Aug 27th 2015, and came across 6 Grey Seals bobbing around in the water off Backman Road, Bayswater. One seal was laying back and had a big yawn showing his teeth. They look pretty cute from a distance, but don't be fooled they can be pretty vicious if you get too close.
For the photograph: It was pretty foggy so I got down over the rocks to the shoreline to get as close as possible. Using lightroom to process the photo I used the white, black and contrast sliders under the basic panel to minimize the haze of the fog. I also used a radial filter and the brush to slightly highlight the seal in the ocean.
