He is one of the Syrian refugees living in Turkey.
So cute & innocent. He is here because of a "war" he is not responsible.

The Petrified Forest was created during the intense volcanic activity that occurred throughout the greater northeastern Aegean region 20 million years ago. The volcanic eruptions caused enormous quantities of lava and ash to flow and cover the centre of the island of Lesbos.

There are more than 3,5 million Syrian refugees living in Turkey. Istanbul, is one of the major cities where they are highly populated. These kids were about to start a soccer match with their Turkish friends.

Syrian refugees are fighting for their lives, faced with the wrath of nature and horizon of hope. Choose to live than to die at home. They know when the boats come in with their children that they risk their lives and the lives of their children.

I just recently watched this video about Syrian Refugees being relocated and paired with a Dutch apartment mate on the outskirts of Amsterdam and it made me very happy. I wish every country would do this, especially America!

I just want everyone to be aware of the new talking point from conservatives which I caught whiff of for the first time below. Trump and the GOP have created a crisis. They have cut services and medical assistance to even the poor, including children living in poverty, and to people with disabilities. Just this week, the GOP was talking about how the'd have to cut Social Security to fund their tax cuts to the rich.
Yet, what they are trying to do after they create a huge crisis, probably one of the biggest depressions America has ever known, is to blame liberals for people like me wanting to help immigrants and refugees while our own citizens struggle. It's the worst gaslighting and please don't fall for it. This is not about the poor US citizens vs. the immigrants. This is about the rich paying their fair share for both poor US citizens AND immigrants. So, be prepared for this new dose of insanity because it's appalling to anyone paying attention but for those people who are just trying to get through their days, they will be more likely to fall for this talking point and lose control of a rational narrative. Never forget it was the GOP who put us in this situation.
NEW:
This isn't a news network and we all have our own opinions and sources. I don't expect one of the commentators below to read through these because he'd likely just call it "Fake News" anyway but here's some additional resources that show the value of immigrants within the US:

I was too late to see Little Amal, the giant puppet of a Syrian refugee, taking her first walk on British soil at Folkestone. She had walked right across Europe. Some photographer I am! She had been dismantled by the time I got there and was being put back in her box.
Just like the struggles of Syrian refugee kids aren’t already enough, we face the shock of the news of the rape of a refugee child in Lebanon by 3 men who have relations with Hizb-Allah. This kid works in a factory in a Lebanese town to help his divorced mom. After investigations, it turns out that the kid has been getting raped and sexually assaulted for the past two years and was threatened by the 8 different rapists not to speak up about it. This isn’t the first and won’t be the last kid to face such a problem, and unless the criminals get punished with worst punishments possible we’ll continue to hear such news.

Appeal to the United Nations We, the people of Rojava, call for international troops on the border line between us and the Turkish occupation instead of mercenaries and terrorists.
نداء إلى الأمم المتحدة نحن أهالي روج آڤا نطالب بقوات دولية في الخط الحدودي بيننا و بين الاحتلال التركي بدلاً عن المرتزقة والإرهابين.
We demand international protection
نحن نطالب بالحماية الدولية.
Nothing staged in this one.
As I walked the streets of Galata in Istanbul on a rainy day, I came across this young woman begging. I immediately saw how photogenic the scene looked. I didnt speak her language and she didnt speak mine. But I showed her my camera and some money and she nodded. She responded to direction and I managed to get 20 frames. I got 2 pics I'm happy with. I paid her for her time and went on my way. I believe she was a Syrian Refugee.
