I've been listening to a lot of Synthwave lately and was inspired to head down to City West (c1987) to find some 80s aesthetics.
It's never been quite the same since they changed the colour scheme to beige rather than Miami Vice pastel pink.

«Биоконструктор» / «БИО»
Группа «Биоконструктор» была основана в 1986 году бывшими участниками группы «Ответный чай» — Александром Яковлевым и Андреем Кохаевым. Позже к ним присоединился клавишник и композитор Леонид Величковский. В феврале 1987 года музыканты записали альбом «Танцы по видео» (open.spotify.com/album/6XRlvWhEdNSNISaOjGDet4), где нашли отражение как тема НТР, так и актуальные проблемы: выпадание людей из реальной жизни из-за увлечения видеофильмами, угроза ядерной войны, превращение человека в машину без эмоций.
«Технология»
Группа «Технология» основана в Москве в 1990 году участниками группы «Биоконструктор» Леонидом Величковским, Андреем Кохаевым и Романом Рябцевым. В качестве вокалиста (и эпизодического текстового соавтора) в группу был приглашён Владимир Нечитайло, работавший до этого с группой «Биоконструктор» в качестве техника. В 1991 году был записан дебютный альбом группы «Всё, что ты хочешь» (open.spotify.com/album/58hMUcGIUdOUVLcDslQtT1), он выходит в свет на аудиокассетах и виниле. Группа снимает видеоклипы на песни «Нажми на кнопку» и «Странные танцы» (1991) (www.youtube.com/watch?v=COi_OXUQxA4).
Олег 'Костров' Подковёров / «Нож для фрау Мюллер»
Переломным моментом в истории «Нож для фрау Мюллер» (open.spotify.com/playlist/4JKwY7ID72zlZcnsyY3fd4) является появление в составе Олега 'Кострова' из электронного проекта «Фантом» и постепенная смена направления в сторону электронной музыки, что можно заметить на альбоме «ГиперУтёсов». С 1995 года творческое ядро «Нож для фрау Мюллер» (их предшественником был проект «Буква О») составляют Олег 'Костров' Подковёров и Олег 'Гитаркин' Фомченков. Альбом 1996 года «Сосульки-убийцы» выдержан в стиле киберпанк. Стиль альбома «Нечеловек-видимка» 1997 года можно определить, как ретро-драм-н-бейс; на нём используется множество семплов ретро-певиц, как Марлен Дитрих, Цара Леандер и Клавдия Шульженко. Известность к ним пришли с выходом «Алло, супермен!» (1999), выпущенным в нескольких странах (Брайан Ино оказал техническую поддержку в записи альбома, предоставив им свой Macintosh). В музыке появляются элементы IDM и Easy listening. В 2000 году клип на песню «Лучшая девушка в СССР» (www.youtube.com/watch?v=faXM8bGc8Qw) появляется на MTV. Сохранилось хардкор-панк видео «Нож для Фрау Мюллер» - Концерт в TaMtAm (1993) (www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVskl1sQ-2A) (до появления Кострова). «Нож для Фрау Мюллер» в 1998 превратилсь в сёрф-проект «Messer Chups», где с 2005 появилась Светлана «Zombierella».

In case you miss, or missed, the 80's synth-wave world-shake movement then you will love this magnificent work. Or if you simply adore great music you will love this.
The electronic music alone is just incredible, nevertheless, the vocals consist of something else added to the mix, making things evolve towards a masterpiece.
This genre just continues showing signs of improvement, getting better and better.
The 72-minute collection portrays a cyberpunk future where society and sentient robots battle to discover their connection in this tragic world.
It's musically positive and unpretentious blend of sounds that exposes a beautiful mixed natural voice, is not just an adoration letter to the 80s, it’s a discovery of a deeper dedication to magnificent sounds intended to transmit to you, the listener, serious feelings about what drives the best electronic sounds today.
I decided after two years to tear apart my 10295 Alt Build Countach by Firas Abu-Jaber and use these pieces to graduate to Rastacoco's Countach.
Before I get to tearing it apart I wanted to share some photos, because a little over a year ago I upgraded the Countach to make it look more authentic.
Among these upgrades include more accurate headlights and front area, white rims that used to be on my Volkswagen Beetle set (made it a Fuchs Beetle!) mirrors, new bonnet and trunk, new scoops, the iconic Countach wing, new taillights, more accurate cleaned-up interior and trunk space (plus removing their "color vomit"), a beautiful engine bay, and custom stickers. There's probably more I haven't listed, it was a heavy revision!
