Self-Released (1985?)
The english translation of Tanz Waffen is "Dance Weapons," and the name is very fitting. 4 tracks of synth w/ female vocals. No music on Side B, but Jeff Campbell's phone number is written on the top sticker.

(12/21/2017) Does anyone know what year the group met Joseph Watt? I know the remixes did not come out on Razormaid until 1987. I need to listen to these mixes again and compare them with the Razormaid ones to hear if they are different. Any info would be helpful.
One of the voices on this Elka is bad. I thought it was the CEM 3396 chips but not really as it turns out. Still trying to figure out the cause.
More on the end cheeks: once they're off, they're really oddly shaped, so even after multiple applications of methylene chloride, you still end up scraping and sanding to get all the paint off.
Once the sanding, staining, and poly finish is done, they then have to be glued back to the main control panel. I used Gorilla Glue.
Video of DA-Synth: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB3t_zx3a0I
The DA-Synth is a small experimental synth that allows you to construct a sound and then turn it into synth beats.
This started life as a toy voice changer circuit and got a few tweaks. A microphone element is mounted on an ex-chair leg, this can be pressed into the throat to allow un-mouthed vocals to be processed separately from mouthed vocals.
An output selection can be made from an internal speaker, line level and amplified outputs.
Dirty Electronics Mute Synth custom modified by A.S.M.O. for Daniel Miller (The Normal / Mute Records).
Touch panels hardwired to pots and switches, 3 LFOs, one for each oscillator and feedback.
Low / band pass resonant filter with external voltage control input, self oscillates at full resonance.
Panel is covered in (warm) leatherette, nice!
A meeting of synth-geeks at my studio. 3 December 2011.
Relaxing's (Tim's) huge array of music-making power.
so i maybe might have bought two new shinkis. meet dj synthia aka synth, who is a baby razz model, and kaede, a pomock.

David "Dave" Gahan - voce
Martin Lee Gore - chitarra, tastiere
Andrew John "Andy" Fletcher (Fletch) - tastiere, portavoce
