Thank God the symptoms of my Covid-19 are on their detour...

During this very panoramic and hilly walk you walk through meadows up to the hamlet of Kosberg. Then you walk through the forest to the hamlet of Landsrade. Then you walk through meadows towards Gulpen and then you arrive in the hamlet of Dal Bissen. The way back goes through meadows to the hamlet of Schweiberg and a nice path takes you back to Epen. This route often runs through meadows with beautiful views of the hills of South Limburg. There are plenty of benches along the way. At the end is a beautiful terrace. You can shorten the route to 7 km.
Alice exhibits symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia, and the Mad Hatter those of both Bipolar disorder and PTSD, Alice in Wonderland is a story so infused with mental illness that both of these characters actually had syndromes named after them...and we thought they were just bedtime stories read by loving parents....

I really love modern art and I enjoy going to art galleries and looking at art that was made in my own lifetime especially and, even more so, in the last decade. But, after spending about 3 -4 hours in an art gallery, I start to feel a little overwhelmed because there is just a lot of emotions and processing for me around art and that's when I usually clutch my chest and tell my partner, "I think I'm having an Art Attack!"
An Art Attack is a little less serious than a heart attack but it's just as visceral in terms of the way your heart rate speeds up, you start sweating, and feeling that panic that comes from taking in too much of the world all at once.
Anyway, in Rome it was proper hot and we needed air conditioning so visiting The Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporane (also known as La Galleria Nazionale) was a welcome adjustment to body temperature and, as I said before on a different photo, I really enjoyed their Time is Out of Joint exhibit. But, I happened to notice this woman in the distance who was having an Art Attack.
After about twenty minutes of her head in her hands, she recovered enough to keep going but I think we should all learn to take symptoms of an Art Attack more seriously. Don't avoid going to art galleries because of this possibility but perhaps pace yourself! Art holds ideas and emotions and purpose. One's heart can only take so much!

I can't still remember me and Miss November Rain
Beautiful and strange
Always so inclined, coloring outside the lines
Yeah, you were never on time
You've always been slightly awkward, kinda weird
Upside down and not all here
What's a-wrong with me and you is crystal clear
Sometimes I'm in a room where I don't belong
And the house is on fire and there's no alarm
And the walls are melting too
How about you?
I've never been the favorite, thought I'd seen it all
'Til I got my invitation to the lunatic ball
And my friends are comin' too
How about you?
Don't worry, it's all just a symptom of being human
Unpack all your baggage
Hide it in the attic, where
You hope it disappears
This all seems so familiar
But it doesn't feel like home
It's just another unknown
Can't wait for their return. Spent several hours in the usual spots tramping up and down muddy paths. No luck to date!
Please say a prayer for our Little Bungee this day as we have decided to go ahead with another operation in an attempt to help him have a chance at a normal life.
As of this juncture, he is dizzy, can't walk straight and refuses food and water.
His surgery will attempt to remove a growth causing this unfortunate physical symptom interfering with his life.
He is still very young so perhaps he will be able to overcome this infirmary.
Thank you all in advance for your prayer and thoughts.

The concept and idea of a postal service was written in to the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 7). It gives Congress the power "To establish Post Offices and post Roads."
While the post office is not as important as it once was, it's still one of the greatest achievements of government in general.
Because it is established in the Constitution (the word used was "shall," which makes it a requirement), it cannot simply be killed without an official amendment. Therefore, it is being slowly and systematically dismantled.
This largely goes unnoticed because the entire government is being slowly and systematically dismantled.
I took one photo in Manter, Kansas, and this was it.

Sleep problems are almost always a big issue for those with symptoms of Lewy Body Dementia, and almost all Persons Living with Dementia (by the time they get to later stages). — just very early with LBD.
This Digital art project began with “silk” application then embellished with ProCreate application. Finished 18Mar2021.
He saw a man look at me
He saw another wink- at
The priest hugged us
-He thought me blush
-He thought him held me longer
His baby fed, fondling my breast,
He caught me smile as he did
-He looked away, to thoughts
-He thought he wasn’t his
-And thought too someday I’ll leave
By error, he put some ill in my lotion
-That saw my flesh peel, my face rust
By error, he burnt fingers our baby
By error, he did
He heard the priest say_ tis better
-He saw malice in him
-Why he anointed my head longer
-How the baby smiled in his embrace
And he thought genetics some flaw-
But some tests soon stem the doubt-
Yet he awake_ stayed
Thinking, thinking –upon my leave
He touches me, noting his wrinkles,
He doubts -he quenches my thirst
He looked away and stayed awake
Thinking, thinking- someday I’ll be gone
He saw a man look at me,
-And another longer hold to me
He a doctor said, a fibroid in me
-That death in the womb he had removed
Then again- a cancer, a mastectomy
He said ‘a symptom’ my having no pain
-Now he looks at me and looks away-
At a marred chest, a charred -look
-Now most think wrong to gaze upon me
But still he saw a man look at me,
And though blind -this man,
He awake stays, thinking still
- I’ll leave
This art project began as a tool to cope with grief when losing another ability due to progress of dementia symptoms.
I remember this began with a tangle pattern, but do not find the pattern in my workbook, so i guess i created it out of my head.
Outlined this pattern 22Apr2018, … with teardrops when i realized that i was nearing the end of being able to use my “nevel” harp, because i was losing ability to tune the instrument. (Tremors symptom from vascular and Lewy Body Dementia symptoms). No longer able to use my Nevel Harp.
Bittersweet. With acquisition of iPad and digital tools i was able to add color 3yrs later, then maneuver the color with “Liquid” tools in ProCreate. No spilling !!!
— Truthful Kindness (i have a 2014 YouTube video with nevel harp as tool for nocturnal hallucinations as symptom of Lewy Body Dementia). easily found with search terms "truthfulkindness" and "nevel" or "nevel harp" on YouTube.

Attention : l'abus de vapoteuse peut mener à vous transformer en être de pure vapeur.

Evening view of Camogli, taken almost a year ago in better times, I wish I could go back there again soon.
I just came back from a short trip to the Rockies, I'm not sure if I was exposed to the virus, no symptoms yet, but I must say that people in Colorado were pretty good about covering up their mouths in public, not as much as San Francisco though. Wyoming was a different scene, almost nobody was wearing a face covering, even indoors, even restaurant employees while preparing food! Utah was somewhere in between, I'm hating the fact that taking precautions have become a senseless political statement......
I hope everyone is still well and staying healthy.
Standing under a deliciously cold waterfall at the end of the hot hike to the Subway is definitely a key symptom of a bad case of waterfallaholism. But most of you already knew just how bad my case is.
When I'm 90 and full of creaks, I'll remember moments like these.

The photographs in my set, "Weed Flower Micros," may appear to be close-ups of regular-sized flowers – they are not!
These are micro (macro) photos of tiny little flowers which bloom on ordinary weeds.
How tiny? The largest weed flower in the set is only, when measured across its widest part from petal tip to petal tip, 3/4" in diameter!
Some of these miniscule flowers are so small that the entire blossom you are looking at is 1/4" in diameter…again that’s measuring from petal tip to petal tip across the widest part of the bloom!
The smallest part of a weed flower that I have managed to successfully shoot and achieve good detail in is a photo I made of a bud that measured LESS than 1/16" in diameter across its widest part! For a reference to its size I have also included a photo of that bud next to the head of an ordinary paper match, which dwarfs the bud.
I am delighting in discovering the beauty, complexity, and variety in something so small that it’s easily ignored or downright difficult to see with the naked eye.
And it’s an even greater delight to realize that this incredible beauty has been growing wild in my lawn, year after year, right under my un-seeing eyes as I’ve repeatedly mown them down with my lawn mower, never realizing the unseen beauty that I was trampling under my feet.
I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I do. I have a lot of fun making them for us to look at!

I've had quite enough of these many "clever" and frankly rather condescending remarks and emails regarding my campaign to make the world aware that we ARE under attack from Undead Blood Sucking Orchids from Outer Space.
Here is the proof. Indeed, for the first time, defined in a visual format: the attack of the U.B.S.O. from O.S.
Witness the seductive white trail of death rising out of the core of this predator orchid.
A human victim pauses for just a moment, captivated by the pleasing riot of colors and the innocent appearance of this perilous pansy, this murderous merigold, this raging, rumbling rose.
"Oh," he says to himself. "An orchid. I wonder what it smells like?"
As he leans forward to sniff, the ferocious floral emits a trail of what we call "scent" and what the orchid soldiers call "White Fangs."
Have you been fanged?
Symptoms include an inexplicable desire to spend hours staring into a computer screen, a certain listlessness regarding all things that don't flickr, and a preoccupation with photography.
If this describes you, let me to urge you to check your homes, examine your vehicles and peer CAREFULLY under your bed.
You may be getting fanged by an U.B.S.O. from O.S.
You have been warned. Chuckle and/or snort at your peril.

Is it a kind of symptom that you are getting old when you find these happening?
When you like Beatles instead of Lady Gaga.
When you love retro style rangefinder instead of modern DSLR.
When you find vintage colours more appealing than the boring silver on the cars.
This is the tail lights of a car I saw in my neighbourhood. Could you guess the make of the car? It is a retro remodel and I put the answer in my tags.
Happy weekend!

Rumination is the inability to banish sad memories and thoughts and the preoccupation with the reasons for, and nature of a person's mental condition in a repetitive cycle of negative thoughts. This enhances the effects of a depressed mood on thinking, impairs effective problem solving, interferes with instrumental behaviour, and erodes social support.
